I'm new to the game, and I just found an ability called Multi-fighting (or maybe 'Multi Combat', Far right of Operative tree) and the description is listed as 'Description TBD'  My question is, does this skill actually do anything, or should I just not load it?

Also, I'm getting the hang of upgrading skills and such, but I don't see Operative listed as an upgradable skill.  Does it auto level, is there only one level, or do I just need to look harder?

I think Multi-Fighting has been disabled (TaBooeD), because you can't fight multiple people at once anymore. Which suxorz.

I would've liked them to improve on the multi-fighting...say....

Agent Jones & Agent Brown vs. ZippydaSquirl

Agent Jones vs. BorisdaSquirl

Agent Johnson vs. BorisdaSquirl & ZippydaSquirl

I don't remember if that was in before CR2 nerfed it, but it woud've been nice if it was.

Multi-Fighting was used before in CR 1.0 to help you out during interlock with 2 to 3 (I think) opponents. It would allow you to use the block tactic against your other opponents and have a higher chance to blocking their moves, while still being able to fight the original player/NPC you interlocked.

Its currently on TBD, but will hopefully be fixed up and changed later on.

Im not sure about your other question though. Make sure that the ability before Operative is leveled. I think its Damage Resistance or something like that.

I don't think that is an upgradable skill anymore. Its one of those skills you activate from the hotbar to give you an upgrade.

It is.  If you select the Operative buff, you get a bonus to melee and ballistic accuracy.

It's pretty much inferior to any of the higher level buffs if you're going up the tree, but might be worth it if you're a coder trying to boost your combat skills (maybe).

I far prefer soldier, which is something like bonus health, and 9 points of ballistic and melee resistance.

Yes, for some strange reason, Soldier Upgrade does reasonably better than any of the Gunman Tree buffs.

Soldier upgrade is 50 health with some bonus (I get liek 56 when I use it) and I think 20 to both ballistic and melee defense. However, I am finding almsot no difference in damage I am taking with or without the buff active now. So, I went back ans tarted to use operative, which actually does give a noticeable change int he damage I deal.
