If you're a Gunman in interlock without guns, the big thing you're going for is this all important choice:
Red(power attack), or Blue(speed)? Red's good for bashing on other Operative-like guys, while Speed is useful for those pesky hackers.

Well, Evade Combat by itself isn't at its strongest; what makes it stronger is all the special moves like Gaussian Blur and such that Hackers use to increase their Combat Evasion (at least it should, though I think there needs to be some fixing since even with those buffs to like 150% the shield seems to break easily).
I don't think you can do this now, but at higher levels, the strategy I use for those times I get pulled into Interlock and become Disarmed, I have at least partially a Melee tree loaded (Kung Fu, etc), so I won't get slaughtered as my guns are gone. But for the Duelist tree, its rolls are usually consistently high, so most people wouldn't have to worry much about it anyways.

Heres a little trick from one gunman to another. If you get disarmed, switch to block tactics. This doesnt only keep your rolls the same, but also reduces the amount of time you'll be disarmed for.
The other alternative, is to roll out when disarmed, but sometimes this isnt possible.

I recently switched to Gunman, using Dual weapons at low level and this seems to work for me so far.
Enough to make Block my default interlock tactic till I weigh the situation up, anyways.
