Is it just me or did you expect more when you create clothes than just, get that bit and that bit of code and tada a coat.

I think it would of been better if you could customise clothes your own way

(within reason nothing profane or offensive).

For example the colour of clothes, why is it with the exception of the marine blue trench, why cant you find any blue clothes anywhere.

This would also be useful for logo creation for Crew/Factions so that you would able to easily identify them.

Now i know that Crews usually use colour schemes to differenciate themselves but that can only go so far.

This would also open up more diversity in the matrix other than

"ooh ive got that coat but its got modifiers on it",

I mean do we really want to end up like Smith and dress the same as each other.

("Im taking the pisss if anyone gets edgy")

Plus if you can really affect code by hacking it that you would in theory be able to do this.

2 Competitors have a similar system - City Of Heroes + WoW

Now i read in a magazine that the character creation tool is so advanced in CoH that no 2 characters are the same.

THIS IS WHAT WE NEED- To be different from each other not just copys.

If anyone else has anything to add then dont hesitate to do so.

Can't compare CoH with MxO. You can't compare any MMO with MxO :p

Anyway, almost everybody want changes in the whole clothing system. Both buffs and style/colors etc. Doubt it will be anything soon tho, first the combat revamp :-x

that would be cool to put.make logos for ur crew/faction on
clothing...like in the move "The Warriors" how every gang had their own
logo/dress code

[for:example...the baseball furies-->bats and baseball uniform...warriors:----> leather vests

That sounds cool. I would really want to make some of my own clothes just so I can look different. /clap for you.

I agree. In fact, I was kinda disappointed when I first tried the
Apparel Maker ability. I was hoping I'd be able to just make white
clothes for one of my characters, buffs aside.

I'd also like to see some variety in firearms. Oversized M16s,
G36s, MAC-10s and MP-7s get old in a hurry. So do 30 million P99s with
different names.

Wonderful idea, i think it'd be a nice change to have some different clothes for once, get tired of running up a a hardline and seeing 20 people that looks exactly like you

Amen to that.  I'd love to have more variation in colour.  It's impossible to find a decent red trench that's actually the same colour as any other red clothing in the game.  There is a distinct lack of some colours like blue.  It would also be good if clothes that had the same named colour were actually the same colour.  It's so annoying to buy two things that are both apparantly 'red' and then find they don't match.

I'm, up for some new gun and clothing models...

Like the idea...except...

Did it ever occur to anyone that blue is missing for a reason?  The color blue is meant to be absent from the Matrix (whose idea it was for the Marine Blue Trench to go into the game only Monolith knows now, probably).  And I suspect this is probably the actual reason for the lack of blue clothes.  Although I will agree we do need more variety.

So...for the most part, you have my vote.

What is the actual reason i dont understand.
Is it something to do with Red and Blue Pills?

Also i have seen blue clothes in the Matrix films, but its only in the "Real World" Neo wears a blue T Shirt from time to time.

Thank you everyone for replying its nice to see im not alone in this.
