Not sure if this suggestion has been floated before, so if it has sorry, but lets talk about it anyways

Well the driving force that used to be MxO was the Storyline and Live Events. Now that point has diluted and lost it's way we need to adjust the game to fall into more of the similar MMO's

With that said other MMO's (WoW) use Quest givers similar to our Neighboorhood Contacts. But unlike the 'Quest givers' there is no real reward or incentive to complete the group of missions. At the end of each mission you get the same XP and $info, no real difference from doing generic controller missions. Other than a brief incite into some background storyline you have no need or desire to do them.

So what I suggest is that like 'Quest givers' and in part like Pandora's box they change the Neighboorhood Contacts to give you a Contact specific singlton item at the completion of the last mission in their set. This can be a random or single item, but specific to gender and be given to all who complete the mission or made sure that missions are taken off list for those who are not Team Leader at the time.

There needs to be more 'play anytime' content in MxO (due to poor Live Events, and international support) and incentives to play the extra content that is there. The Neighboorhood Contacts are in interesting addition to MxO (tho I've only taken a few myself) but with the same reward as doing a generic 'Assination Mission' there isn't a point to do them and we all miss out.

Thoughts, opinions, rants ....

Wouldn't people start rushing through neighborhood contact missions until they were all done, causing most of the player base to drain the content rather quickly (like what happened with Pandora's Box)?  Personally, I do one neighborhood contact mission a day.  I've got most of Westview's contacts, and all of International's and Downtown's to get through, so I've still got plenty of stuff to do in-game.

Also, in Pandora's Box you could receive the reward items again and again by redoing the missions.  Neighborhood contact missions can't be redone at this point in time, so there would most likely be complaints similar to the ones from people who can't get items from certain Archives once they reached a certain level.

Personally I don't care.  I don't do things for special items.  But if it means that the game will be reprogrammed so I can redo neighborhood contact missions whenever I want, then I'm all for it. ^_^
