1.) Yup

The new cinematic shows Anome's crazy henchmen going crazy around the city blowing things up and killing people. These people are supposed to be a SERIOUS threat! Some sort of random city spawn/attacks would at least make it feel like what is happening in the cinematics and the crits are real. some unlimits randomely targetting and attacking redpills would be cool too. surely something like that can't be too hard to script up.
Also the splinter groups like EPN and Cyphs. EPN spawns attacking machines and Cyph spawns attacking Zionists would be so great. The attacks don't have to be uber frequent or anything, but enough to make their presence known and keep you a bit on your toes.
And of course Agents...You know I really don't see why as you gain levels and get stronger, the agents are less likely to attack you...shouldn't it be the other way around???
2.) They do, I guess. The problem is they're just NPCs and a single person can wipe out 3 level 65s if he's careful.

Special documents found on the spawns, for instance.
I miss the old collecting game of items from NPC spawns. It's a fairly good way of boosting the presentation of the current storyline and is something to keep players occupied moreso.
But I agree, fear is very needed in MxO to complete the Matrix feeling.
Seriously. I'm Level 11 and haven't yet felt remotely threatened by anything.
w00t randomized spawns while your coding!
PvP interrupted by NPCs jumping everyone out of the blue!
Private chats out in the open disturbed!
It would be like Piece of Blue Sky just worse.
Random spawns are run the first time around but soon after are just a pain in the **bleep** and annoying
Well, they're supposed to be annoying. I wouldn't think they should be helpful. After all, they are trying to kill you and make an impact.

If you're going to kill someone, i don't think you would wait until they finished coding or talking to their mate.

I can't see why everyone is/got so upset.
Coding? - do it somewhere safe. On top of a monument! Or indoors?
PvP? Well it's about fighting isn't it?
Chats in the open ... well, isn't that sort of the idea? They're there to disrupt you. Find a more secure location

i dont mind em myself but meh , gotta go with the majority :smileysad:
Too add some fear make agents appear more freqently , i hate the way once you get to lvl 50 you never see em again

The Matrix should be threatening as a rule, not only when you throw yourself into danger.
