This has nothing to do with the Master Shadow incident.

One of my lvl 50 alts was just deleted by a CSR for literally giving out my opinion.

Sorry for making all these threads recently, jeez. I'd like to thank the community for the good times, you guys made it worth it and I will certainly miss you all forum junkies.

...And no you can't have my stuff. (because it was deleted.)

I was gone for 3 months and when I came back i heard of alot of people i used to know who were really helpful and always put 100% and tried to help with the game that had been banned. Vash, Disch0rd etc. I'm sorry to hear that SOE is doing such a **bleep**ty job handling the community. It was good entertainment seeing your posts and learning more about the game from your threads. Good luck man.

deleeting one of your characters i didnt even realise the csrs had that kind of power

then again they can perma ban you which is along the same lines

but i mean that was just totaly unfair i mean the ammount of time you spent getting to lv 50

also is it not a human right to have and be able to voice an opinnion without fear of persecution.

also just out of curiosoty what was the name of the deleted char ?

Can't say I blame you, there is a severe lack of communication about problems with the new system. The CSR's won't even discuss or listen to potential problems RIGHT AFTER A NEW SYSTEM CAME OUT. We have a mod that flames the community and insults us in a belittling and abusive manner.

You guys probably know about the tournament issue.

The player responsible asked me for my opinion when the incident happened, well, I told him what I'd do, although I told him not to spend the info, which he did.

My level 50 alt, C3real with a play time of 42 days was summoned to the white room about an hour ago, I explained them what happened, I told them I was going to pay back what was given to me (which I did not ask for). Still, no reasoning about it. I got the typical "Management Decision" reponse and my level 50 was deleted by the CSR.

This is probably my last post. I wish I could change the past because I loved MxO, but man... you can't just delete 40 days of my life like that...

paying? lol were paying 15 dollers a month.. thats about 50 cents a day.. I can make that money in 10 min everyday by walking around a grocery store asking for a quarter.. so its not like were payin top doller here sheesh

I'm just gonna make this simple. If Krytical has laid everything on the table and told us the whole story then it's bs that he's gettiing his char deleted for accepting 35 million info that a csr may have deemed stolen info. The harshest this should have been was a temp suspension but a char deletion took it to far.

And Kryt's word is the only word we are gonna get. You'll never see a DEV/CSR defending themselves on a messege board. won't happen

I know what SOME people will do for 30 USD but you forget that people who play MMORPGs are people who have the money to buy a nice computer, and pay around 50 a month for internet and youre going to tell me 15 is alot of money? give me a **bleep** break lol

(or they are people whos parents buy everything for them so money is not an issue)

LOL! Detrius, you are reading into this too much. That contest was not contractually binding.[Like being an employee is, or the person who gives out paychecks]. The fact that Kryt is second hand in all this makes it even more bogus. But for you to even compare a GAME to real life laws is more rediculous than CSR's banning kryt.

As far as the topic goes, its obviously out of line. A suspension, hell even a ban would have been better. But a character deletion over ingame currency, during a non-SOE hosted event, thats about as justifiable as the guy who killed someone over an item in EverQuest.
Anyone who agrees with the action taken, is IMO, serverely misguided and I would reccomend prompt mental care.

Bottom line...If someone accidently gives you ten times as much $info...the right thing to do is to cancel the trade and start again. If the trade goes through...give back the $info.

The same applies to item trades if there is a mistake... be honorable about it . Start again and do it right.

MXO is a good community and a family in some respects. The group as a whole suffers when there is negative energy brought about by these types of mishaps.

You gambled that spending the money wouldn't draw attention from the CSRs and you lost. You and the other guy knew what you were doing was dishonest but you both spent the money anyway. I can't believe you made a thread about it.

I would hope the original thief got his character wiped out as well, and i suspect he did. The CSRs had to do something harsh; they had no choice. Player run contests are a valuable form of content and if the players running these things don't get some kind of insurance then it will discourage them from holding them and other from participating. This isn't about SOE brow-beating you with some petty morality; it's about protecting their game!!!!

combined in the couple months we were in the same faction was less than
what you've said in this thread. Hell, this thread counts for about 10%
of your posts since you've registered on the forums. That caught me
very offguard. Especially since most of what you've said appears to be
in anger and disgust, but why? Which also threw me off guard. In
additoin you're all over the place. At first it appeared you didn't
even read the thread. Just blindly jumped in and defended the CSRs. But

an unrelated topic: forgive my poor memory, but I could have sworn I
remember reading someone bringing up that there are mods and CSR's that
either play this game, have friends in game, or both. I'm pretty sure
it was in this thread. However, I've gone through the entire thread a
few times (mainly because none of this makes sense) and could not find
that particular post. Was it in this thread? or was it in
another? I can't quite remember. If it was in this
thread....well....i've seen that mentioned in other threads and not
removed. So why was it removed from this one? Things that make you go
hmmmmm.

You make me sick. It's obvious you're very young, never had a real job, and ignorant.

I can't afford a nice computer. I pieced it together over the course of many years, buying only when I had the money.
If I had to pay $50 a month for internet I wouldn't be here.
$15 is enough that I'd bust you in your **bleep**ing face to aquire it.
