how brief is the window to gain the tag, rarebit? As we all know, starting a quality faction takes time and finding at least 4 people not going anywhere anytime soon, that all agree on a general purpose. Not always a simple task, especially when dealing with what was mostly covert operatives and few outspoken, and public Cypherites.

Update:

There is a limit of 41 characters, visible or invisible, on faction names. The blue CYPH tag adds 21 characters, since it includes two spaces, a dash, and 14 invisible color coding characters. Therefore, any faction with a name longer than 20 characters will need to come up with a shorter version of their name when asking for a CYPH tag.

its been like over a week and still no contact from Customer Support...NO this is not a complaining thread i just wish to know wht is the average time beofre im contacted?

Shouldn't be too long. You might want to check with your Cypherite liaison to see if they passed on the tag request to CS.
