Death of the Destroyer: Who got a piece of the Assassin?

I didn't get to enjoy fighting the ASSassin on Sunday, but I did battle him with the help of alot of other people on Friday on Syntax.  I hit him quite a few times, but alas he got away before he got damaged too much.  At one point I think we got him to half health before he fled.

Lvl 50 Master Procrastinator

on syntax me and a few of the vixens got a good peice of the aspect that was near the church.  i landed 30 or so sprays on him.  i got meatwaded a few times and that i have to say was quite disturbing :smileysurprised: the screams and people getting smashed into a ball just gives me the shivers... it was great fun but it seems that the masks are just a bit unfair.  the buffs they have and they way they got distributed.  i want buffs on my fly in amber!!!  600hp for 30 IS every 600sec?? not worth the effert to put it on the hot bar.

I was one of the ones to help take him down at Lucero Point.  I
shot him quite a few times with the flit, died, then came back and
managed to get a few more hits in before he was defeated.

Think this is what we all wanted out of the event

Yeah i managed to get a few hits in, but i think ill remember in future
events to hide at the back until the baddy is on his last legs and
sneak in for the final blow, instead of getting killed alot of times
for a turd on a string (fly in amber)



Delegate

Between rezzing folks, looking for the sneakey A-man near Club Avalon,
and the intermittent harmonic disturbances (which caused emergency
jack-outs), I got 2 or 3 flits in before being turned into a meatwad...

I DID!! I WAS ONLY ABLE TO HIT THE ASSASSIN 2 TIMES BEFORE I DIED. I NEED HELP FINDING OUT HOW TO GET A MASK. PLZ SOME1 A.S.A.P. TELL ME HOW?!?

Here's a couple.

Loved this event.. but hateed the time all the action started.. i am from Norway.. need to stay upp all night.. work went bad ... lovst the MATRIX...

I took part in the killing assassin near midian park on recursion.

Due to the high lag on the server, that made a lot of us crash out of the server more than once, and lag experienced to reconstruct/being rezzed, it was more frustrating than everything else.maybe all assassin clone should have been spawned at same time so the teams would be better split in the megacity area lowering the lag.

I've attacked him like 5-6 times with about 3 flit gun hits (fought till death). And for few seconds of lag i didn't make last hit. I was too much  concentrated into the war to take screens, but i have one of a second after his escape, as a scene of death he left behind him.

Yeah, I fought the Assassin at Midian park also on Recursion I did
around 125 dmg mabey more but I was crushed about 10 times thankfully
my team rezzer was nearby to help me out but the constant crashes and
client drops were making it more difficult for redpills to get good
hits in.

I did! Although the assasin was significantly stronger than I, I fought him in Sobra Shores. There was tons of running and laaaaaag but I'm proud to say I, Captain Invyper, have a section of Matrix history of my own. 

I had some fun with the assassin, I stayed on him pretty good during
the hunt, I think it ticked him off a bit as I shouted his location
every chance I got.



At one point he stopped singled me out for extermination and ran on...
That did'nt deter me though, I continued my persuit and taunted the
assassin when I could.



Much fun was had.

We had a little squable before the rain of pain fell.

1. Waited and waited .. he was late (according to the DN1 info)



2. Fired my mighty flit gun at him.. got quite a bit of lag.



3. Shot him some more and chased him into a tunnel...then couldn't leave the tunnel.



4. Crashed



5. Couldn't log in for a few minutes.



6. Finally got in.



7. Couldn't see the assasin but people died around me.



8. Shot the assasin ..got killed.



9. Crashed.



10. Couldn't get back in the game for a few mins



11. Shot the assasin and chased him but couldn't enter the area he ran
into (an invisble wall much like the barrier preventing me from leaving
the tunnel)



12. Everyone crashed.



13. He was supposed to be dead but people where turning into little
balls around the church (the best part of the event because it was
funny).



14. Crashed



15. Couldn't get back in the game for a few mins.



16. Went to the meeting with Pace. Listened to her say something on the
lines of "You did it great job the matrix is saved" .. and also read
people ask brilliant questions/requests like .."Agent Pace will you
join my faction?"... "Pace take off your clothes" ... "Agent Pace I
love you" ... then she logged..the meeting was extremely brief.

-Overall opinion.. could have been a lot better.

Our goup was one of the first sightings, beatings on the assassin, days before flit gun was available on recursion.

Ya I got him too.  Musta hit like twenty times I figure.  No screenshots though, too busy chasing, shooting crashing, swearing, unable to login, turning green and swearing some more!LOL!:smileyvery-happy:

I took a really good bar and a half away from the assassin.

"Your Crush does 19,801 Damage"..  By the Smirk of Smith :smileysurprised:

Sadly, I came into the game a bit after the event...too bad I didnt get the game during beta when I had the chance to

i dont see why the lvl 50s didnt take turns interlocking while every1 else pounded his fly **bleep** with the flit gun, not very effective the way u did it.

Because the corrupting auror thing would take you out too fast.  He was just way too buffed and the flit gun did the job..is my guess. Although this was about 8 months ago so I may be a bit foggy
