WTB Vendor with Rare Items

Since the world is ending in 2 months, can we give players, new and old, the opportunity to get rare items that are either no longer obtainable, or require far too much effort to farm for? Perhaps set up a vendor that sells stuff like the Area K Trench, Patcher's Headgear, org items, etc. for a small amount of $info.

I don't think anyone's going to care much that their uber-rare items are going to mean anything for the duration, so why not let everyone enjoy what they previously couldn't obtain while they still have the chance?

Rare items are rare for a reason, why spend all the years collecting everything and spend alot of time doing it, for them to just hand everything out? I am just saying, I spent all 4 years collecting everything, I dont want it to seem like I wasted all that time. Its the only thing I got left.

Now, a collector for the winter, anniversary, and halloween stuff would be nice. Also, one with the old clothes, and Fly Virus Immunity, I would like that.

I agree.  I think we should be able to have access to holiday stuff, for mostly asthetic and nostalgia reasons.  If they didn't imbalance the game during each respective holiday event, they wont imbalance them now.

WEll better to just open everything up: Rare ITems/ holiday masks  or all Masks of all types / Club Hel etc. etc. so we can also take pics and videos for keepsake memories

I also liked that Glitch Kitty lol. The memories of this game will stay with me forever. I feel the same as XXT on this, some of us have spent years collecting and probably want to be remembered on our selected servers for some of the things we've done or items we've obtained i for one own the Assassin's mask and i wouldnt like to see every noob wearing one.

I think if you want anything at all have all the halloween/xmas/anniversary stuff unlocked and for anything else you need ask Mathalos or Bayamos to include it in there Patch.

Honestly I would like to see us be able to go in to all constructs, and buy all the worthless gear other than the uber rare items like Assassin's mask.  Why not be able to buy the crap?  I never even got an Area K coat or whatever its called I sure wont feel the need to "work" for one now.  But I will buy one with the useless info I have.

I am all for vendors for holiday items, anniversary items etc. But the rares no. I really dont care for someone thats only been playing since february to have access to a beta coat.

Its not the greed its the childness thats unreal. In the mean time why dont they make everyone 50, give them every ab lvld to 50, and 4billion info. You know to sahre the wealth and let everyone experience the game.

People who obtained rare items by winning an event, solving puzzles, buying them from other players or just be given a rare item will go down on the list of MXO history as the players who got the rare items, regardless if there's a vendor selling everything for a bargain.

So what does it really matter for the last 2 months? Bragging rights? Still like to be proud of whatever item you got? Still like to be unique? I don't think anyone cares about that anymore. The game was dead and is finally closing its doors. Might as well go out with a bang. Everyone who got a rare item will be remembered for that anyway. It's not about what item you got but the method of obtaining the item, that's what matters and how you (you = player with rare item) will be remembered by.

For one it's already been said in this thread there is nobody to put it in anyway, second of all it's already evident that people have mixed reactions/thoughts to this idea, after all there is a patch in the game currently made by Mathalos and Bayamos for you guys to see and use many items you wouldnt normally get to try.

If it was you in mine XXT, or even Craints posistion i would be willing to bet you would be against the idea too, certain items as XXT has already said took years to obtain, just to have everyone have them in the final 2 months, what the hell did he pay 4-5 years of subscription fees for?

That's like giving everyone on SWG a Sunriders Destiny, an Elder robe and full Mando armour, and a Nighsister Bicep because the game is closing down. (Dont know how familiar you are with SWG) but it's stupid the difference here is there is a smaller portion of players with Rare items, regardless of how they were obtained.

And the only people who dont care are the one who dont own the items themselves.

if anything please be reasonable and ask for your Halloween/Anniversary and Xmas rewards like Villemar said in the other thread ludicrous ideas stop reasonable ideas from being considered.

I'd have to agee with Endo and XXT. Although, jealous is the big deal here. Especially with me but it's the way it goes. People did earn them and it's probably one of the main reason why some players stayed with the game. To collect them. They may be gone in August but can't we just leave on a good note? If you want usable items and somewhat rare. Download the patch. Alot of the rare items aren't even worth using for say pvp. The headgear and commando gear aren't even rare but they are hard to get. Those could be an exception. We should know how to get those by now. If you don't, I feel sorry for you.

I am willing to bet money all the event will be is spawns upon spawns. Recycled content was rarebit trying to give us new items, other than spawning I havent seen any other devs put anything into this game, reskinned or not, the events like the anniversary are already made and jsut require turning the switch on.

It would be wicked if they turned on all events at once though... running into a snow creature in the middle of the dark while being attacked by zombies as agent smiths chase your as down would be sweet as hell
