Returning for the end now impossible???

Seriously what gives? People who subbed on June 1st are now getting kicked out of game and having their accounts shut down? I mean seriously wth...

Listen... We got less than a weeks notice that you were shutting the game down and stopping billing. We are the paying customers who made this game what it is and after putting in so much time, dedication, and love into this game your simply pulling the plug and taking all our hard work and throwing it into the garbage can. We've got a little less than 2 months left on this game and we'd like to make the most of it and get as much enjoyment out of it as possible... I don't know if you guys have forgotten this fact due to how small the player base is around here, but this is a MMO... And its the multiplayer part that keeps people come back. We've got 2 months left and in order to make the most of it we need our friends and faction mates to be here. As a faction leader myself, I've got tons of friends/faction members who are currently unsubbed and cant get resubbed to get back here and enjoy the last 2 months. And this is a fact that rings true for a lot of players and factions where they've got a lot of unsubbed players who want to come back but cant.

You've got players going back to the CR1 days who put in a lot of time into this game in its early on who want to be here for the end. Some of us have put in well in excess of 3000 hours in to our characters... That's a massive amount of time to spend on something to not be able to be there for the end and have some closure. I mean really stop and think about all the old players out there who you know who want to be here right now but cant.

 

So Virrago, please go bash some heads up in the SOE offices and get them to enable all the old accounts. Let anyone who's not banned come back and play for the end. Heck, unban all the accounts and let them come back as well. As much as we hated some of the players in this game its also the villans who made the game what it was as well. The point is though, let the players come back who want to come back. In the last 2 months if we could get everyone back on here we could make the last 2 months something amazing and give this game one he ll of a send off. And from the logical point of view... SOE has no reason not to.... From June 1st forward all of us are playing for free anyway... So really what difference does it make? Free is free. Try to get them to let our friends and faction mates come back.

So I implore you to please fight for this all to often forgotten community and let us get the most out of the time we have remaining. Because if we cant get our friends and faction mates back here its simply another slap in the face.

I resubbed on the 31st and I'm locked out too.

I agree. Why announce on such a short notice that the game will close. It's not like it's been decided in 4 days, why give people 4 days to resub?

I resubbed on the 28th but I'm locked out.  I think the fail is more epic than we're aware of. :\

I resubed as soon I heard the news on June the 1st, I could even play until they decided they had problems. I spent ages with support tyring to get through to somone who just did not listern. Just kept repeating the game is being closed.

I've noticed that the removed MxO from my Subscriptions Info page. Did they do that to anyone else?

I get an error whenever I try to view my subscriptions or when I try to access the station launcher friends list (Funny cause I could access it while unsubbed) or when I try to contact SOE support in any way, shape or form.

I'm talking to support right now, and it seems that MxO was completely removed from my account. They don't even have my CD key in their system. Here is part of our chat.

Guess I'll go back to WoW while they hash this out.  My main account works, but my 2nd one (subbed May 28th) does not.

FFS i resubbed a friend on the 1st June and now he's locked out. I deleted my card details so how the f*ck do i get my money back.

  28 February 2009 :Tabula Rasa die .Ncsoft  decide  that the game was free to play  10 january untill the end.

  For the ending event each player become lvl50 ( and lot of compensation for those we hae sub).

  It was " better " ( sorry i dont find good english word) to live the last moment  with old mate , This game was only       

 one years  old. In mxo some of us know other since 4years !!!!

 So I m agree with Endomorph : Don t denie the right for our mate ( and other player) to come back  .

 In this game each player know 75%  of other player and not only cause we are few ( event , party , mara  can explain  that ).

The game gonna die ,we want to be together for the last moment ! Not  a big request, i think !

My account is also in that situation, so it seems I won't be able to be with you all guys for the final demise.

I really undestand being able to resub on June 1st was a tecnical mistake, and we shouldn't have been able to do that. It was my fault to be late to the dead line. But, once we were resuscribed, it'd be best just let us be and say goodbye to the game we love and worked so hard for. Because this shouldn't be just bisnes, there's also a lot of sentiments for a lot of the community.

Virrago, Raijin, walrus, if you have voice with the guys making this decisions, please make them to rething it.

TSR Mark R.: Unfortunately it appears that your account has been locked out from the MXO servers. the worse part is we do not have a tool or utility that allows us to get past the server restrictions. I can offer you a full refund for your subscription. I am very sorry about this. There are a lot of users that I have had to break this news to today and I wish I could do more.

I really undestand being able to resub on June 1st was a tecnical mistake, and we shouldn't have been able to do that. It was my fault to be late to the dead line. But, once we were resuscribed, it'd be best just let us be and say goodbye to the game we love and worked so hard for. Because this shouldn't be just bisnes, there's also a lot of sentiments for a lot of the community.

Virrago, Raijin, walrus, if you have voice with the guys making this decisions, please make them to rething it.

From what they been saying there is lot of hope here, and no its not our faults for missing the deadline when they give us 4 Days to do it in.

I cant believe they got such a stupid system as to lock us all compleatly out.

We understand the problem that you all are having and how it's pretty confusing, was it June 1st that was the cutoff or May 27th? I know that's what you all are asking since you've only seen the 1st mentioned as the deadline.

Needless to say we're discussing the matter here as well and while I don't have anything official to mention as of right now, we hope that we'll have something to tell you all in the near future.

No sarcasm taken, I think many of you all are just searching for answers one way or another and we're put in the difficult spot of not having one just yet. Hopefully soon (tm).

So does this mean then that your working on a way to get players who are currently unsubscribed and who missed that "deadline" back in game? Because thats the issue at hand. People who've been gone for awhile need to be allowed to come back and enjoy the last few months of the game with their friends and faction mates

Unfortunately, I do not know how customer service is handling contacts regarding re-activating accounts that were not subscribed when the announcement was made.  Our focus with the closure of the game was on our current MxO customers and making sure that we were able to stop billing subscription fees, process any necessary outstanding subscription refunds, and extend trial offers to other games while ensuring they could access MxO until the servers went dark.  We certainly appreciate that there are some former MxO players that want to come back to see the end of the game, but as mentioned, our priority had to be placed on our current subscribers.

Excuse me?!?!  SOE accepted my re-subscription on 5/31 and gave me access to MxO until this morning. That charge is still reflected in my payment history, and as far as I'm concerned, I *am* a current subscriber!! Except, of course, that SOE while happily taking my money is now refusing me access to a service I've paid for.

If this isn't on your priority list Raijinn, it really needs to get near the top of it *now*!

I'm not sure if you've seen the previous posts that I've made on that topic but that's definitely a concern for us and we hope to have an answer for everyone in the same boat as you.

TSR Eryk N.: What happened was, you were not supposed to of been able to subscribe but somehow it let you do so. You will be getting a refund for that and should have access to the game by tomorrow as well.
