In my personal opinion, seing as the game is destined for the graveyards of SOE why not let us have all items / abs / ares etc unlocked,
For the sake of a month why not let us burn off our frustration with some DEV hacks and MODS.
Assassins masks and Perpetuals and Zen master for all!
I mean we are gonna all die anyways so lets have our money worth!

Mainly because Chaotic fun is the best kind of fun.

Would be nice, but alas, no Devs to implement it.
How they planning on doing something major for the final event....

Stop asking for fool things, thats the surest way to end up with Jack Sh1t and getting put on perma /ignore again . Stop asking for Assassin's Masks and whatnot. By doing so you make those of us who have been asking for simple and realistic things, like that the Holiday masks be unlocked before End of Live, get lumped in with idiotic requests and blown off. In case you weren't paying attention, there will be no more Holiday events, so this is our last shot. We might even get access to Holiday tickets and fun (and again, realistic) things like Smith Virions. Don't screw it up for the rest of us.
If you wanna run around with an Assassins Mask on just install the Patch.
I am sure SOE have a few dev's who could come over and give it all to us?
But then why do that for the finale when they couldn't give us anything in the past? Just keep cutting back everything until we left with a shell of its former self.
We will have a few CS staff playing agents and be done with it.

Unfortunately, since there is literally no devs I suspect there will be no 'unlocking' of anything at all. Simple or spectacular.
The best to hope for is a fitting end of game event and anything else, like the double xp/info, is a bonus.
