I really have no interest in the fantasy genre, or the superhero genre, or space opera. I think I'll take a loooong break from mmo's. The Agency appealed to me but not so much anymore. I am curious about APB though !!

Mmm, MetaLogic, SenaDe, Janyce and I have been brainstorming ways to extend the family's story into CoH. Looks like it's going to be an utter blast, and frankly, planning ahead is helping ease the pain of MxO being shuttered.
SWTOR or Star Trek Online.
I will never give SOE another dollar. They can take the Station Pass and shove it up their *ss*s
I intend on at least trying The Agency whenever they get around to releasing it. Beyond that I'll probably just play TF2 and L4D and whatever mmo I might stumble upon a beta key for.
Everyone should agree to try Fallen Earth. This game looks outstanding and the devs don't appear to be rushing it out. Thanks again to clicker2 for the tip. Team MXO can survive the end of the world as we know it

I dont get what the hell is going on in that game. Are there 6 different factions? FEMA taking over the US just sounds really realy stupid. If you have ever worked with FEMA you would know they cant organize anything.
I want to play an MMO that doesnt have elves and gnomes. I like guns and future weapons. The Agency looks like lame with dated looking graphics.

The legend himself has posted again! Long time Ex.
I've been part of a TF2 clan for a long while now that's starting to branch out into other games, like Left 4 Dead. I'm gonna try to get on the beta of the Agency, if only to see if it has any potential whatsoever. Other than that, EVE looked interesting, if mind numbingly complex, and Global Agenda looks really fun.
I'm actually currently working on a L4D plugin that, long story short, makes the zombies more traditional (slow and hard to kill).
And then of course there's always The Matrix Online: Rebooted. Trying to see if there's a way to squeeze my way into Alpha or Beta testing.
kidding
I'm going home...
Been playing this game on a demo machine from E3 for five years now. Getting tired of standing.
EX! <3
In terms of real life, I've got my football scholarship postponed until next year due to lack of money so that comes up next summer now but I do have numerous trial games lined up now as of today so thats good.
Xbox Live, and eventually PS3 online (when I get my hands on one), is likeoy to be the only real online gaming I'll be doing from now on and is the only online gaming I've been doing for a number of months now.
Outside.
To the bathroom
Back to the future!

I'll be on Steam, Xbox Live and waiting for TOR Beta and STO.
You'll find me in SW:TOR with the rest of the oldies, with the same character name.
Think im Giving SWG a shot along with some other ML mebers were still discussing on what were doing we are deffingly giving Knights of the old Republic a try once that finnaly comes out as well.
TOR (along with all the games I already play).

Fallen Earth, so I can RP and hang with my friends that are migrating there!
STO, pretty good community hope fully during beta they will get close like we had, maybe even the fan radio stations and sites we had. (RFZ Ftw!).
Maybe check out SW:TOR but no other MMOs really hold my intrest at the moment.
I will probably continue playing WoW for at least the foreseeable future.
I am looking forward to seeing what STO is like (holdin' out for playable Romulans...), and maybe SWTOR.
I'll go where The the Familia goes.
I played the trial of EVE with some friends last semester and enjoyed it quite a bit. If I can get some people to subscribe with me, that's where I'll be heading.
I am playing MxO because I am a big fan of the Matrix trilogy. This is the only one MMO I am playing and I cannot find another place after MxO.
1. The Agency no more attracts me.
2. I have visited some of the websites of games posted above, but cannot find a good one. I am not interested in fantasy world with sword and magic. Though there are some games with city, gun and action, I don't feel they are as stylish as MxO.
3. EVE looks very cool, but I am not sure I can keep a motivation as well as MxO.
I am most likely to go back to the real world. It's very sad. I don't like the SOE's way replaces MxO with a childish crap game.

Hey now, there's an idea I never thought of...
Stay tuned for more details!

I like the way you think, Operative.
Away from SOE. Probably SGW, STOR, Jumpgate Evolution, etc.

I'll send up smoke signals, pick me up on your way there.

Any chance you'll come pick me up?
I heard hello kitty online is really fun, so probably going there yeah
Lego online is fun... NOT
... Eve-online is probably not for someone liking MXO... Closest I've found to MXO is "City of Heroes" (and there are already some MXO peeps on there who like it), but then again it's not MXO.
But probably I'm going to stop MMO's for a while... it really is a waste of your life

There are several MMOs and interesting games coming out if you’re inclined to part take of them.
- Aion: Tower of Eternity
- DC Universe Online
- Champions Online
- Jump Gate Evolution
- Dark Prophecy
- Star Wars: The Old Republic
- Stargate Worlds
Some that are currently running;
- World of Warcraft
- Lord of the Rings Online
- Warhammer Online
- City of Hereos/Villians
- Eve Online
- Chronicles of Spellborn
- Dungeons and Dragons Online
While none of these has the unique flavor of MxO, I have always felt in the end playing MMOs was more about the people you play with then the game itself. (your milage may vary)
I can pass out a few 21 day buddy trials for EvE online. It's an amazing game, server usually has anywhere from 20,000 - 50,000 players signed in. Pvp is massive, I've been in fleet battle where there wsa like 400 vs 400 give or take a 100 on each side. I could go on and on about how imersive the game is but i would barely scratch the surface. Expansions are free and they are adding in abulation so u will actually have a character and not be stuck in a ship. Just send me a pm with your email and I'll send em out.
WOW - Yes I can't believe it myself.
APB - Looks neat, just not sure when or if it will come out.
Fallen Earth - Looks like it has potential.
SWTOR - Looks good so far, just so far away.
Champions Online - something I have to research first.

This is why i loved MxO it wasn't full of fairy's and drama trolls.. it was full of win and pwn.
---------------
Not to sure if i will ever play another MMO like i played MxO, Mainly because of how easy it is to have all your work you put into it erased in the blink of an eye. The only game that seems anyway near tempting at the moment is DC Online the rest seem to be aimed and 4-8 year olds, If that doesnt work out I will most likely move back to console's after the servers have shut down >_>

So I may not be the only one refugee who will wander between virtual world and real one.
Umm.. DC may work but I'm not sure as it hasn't been released yet.
It is true players are more important than the game itself, but it is also true we may not be able to meet people with the same preference if the game itself doesn't fit.
