I also want to add that I took things way to seriously as LESIG. For me, it became more of a job than a game. So, apologies to those fellow LESIG I liked to argue with. But, especially to the players who didn't get as much fun out of me.

Yeah, you guys were always super helpful that way. Always handing me something new (which we weren't supposed to take, lol, it was against the "rules").

And, yeah, I found it a little bizzare at times, like when we would be debating politics on the boards and then rp'ing later in-game. LOL, good times, good times.

Someone *definitely* needs to snag at least a few of Rarebit's 97 "Welcome to LESIG, your arse belongs to me now" posts.

I think when everyone sees the "rules" of LESIG, they'll understand a few more things.

Absolute agreement from me. Vogt/Harpalos was an inspiration and a huge help to me when I was in LESIG. The guy was a genius when it came to events, especially puzzles. And he taught me a huge amount about web design when I was creating the Hovercraft Battles page for the 01Network.

He was super-patient and had the heart of a teacher. At least with me, lol. Rarebit. . .not so much. We owe Vogt an even bigger debt of gratitude than you guys might know, because if there was any one LESIG member that could be said to have kept Rarebit from going off the deep end on things, it was Vogt.

If you're interested in the story of Coffin's Nail's journals from the map, they're posted in chronological order here: http://forums.station.sony.com/mxo/..._id=36300028744

The map itself will probably be released to the public very soon, in preparation for the end of the story. Outlines and a full release of supplementary material will follow.

With luck, the Jokers will be back to laugh away the end of the world.

<3 Vogt. He had a great technical mind for puzzles. I was sad to see him leave.

I also want to give props to Olink of the Glitch Society from Syntax. He was the one who kept 01mainframe running for as long as it did and he did so for more than a year after the quit MxO. He also briefly joined me as Vector Merv LO as Baelroth.

Oh, and some other people who deserve a little appreciation: Acheronia, Banshae, BloodlustV, Systematica. Along with myself, we are all that remains of the original LESIG invites. We've been with the program for 3 years now working to make MxO a slightly more immersive world. And we'll be here til the end, it seems.

I honestly don't have any clue what led me to make that image... none at all.

You though, you know what I think of you, though you prefer to stay behind the scenes on things, you were a creative genius, able to think up crazy schemes on the fly, and you offered the community lots of puzzles and mental challenges. You should be especially loved for your Jokers, who were so awesomely mysterious that people actually thought Chadwick was behind them. (I'm sure Paul was flattered. :P)

And while I'm thinking of the long-lasted originals, if Lesig's great cheerleader would reveal herself, she ought to be thanked for giving great morale to the group and providing lots and lots of smileys. :)

Scratch this one off of your list. That was in fact me, AbraCadaver aka Devistate aka DesperAuto from the Syntax server. Well, still is me I guess because he never got renamed from when I left a few months back. I mostly hung out in my own circles until getting the invite so it doesn't surprise me that the ID didn't really get out, especially since no one knew for months and then only a few knew after that. It wasn't until I was about to leave when I told some people, including LO's that I worked with for a long time such as Tranta and the one formerly known as Haigen. Both were surprised even though they had spent a good deal of time around me.

Anyway since I'm here and never gave a good bye post, I really appreciated the time I spent in the group. Recursion was very good to me from the start, both within the Cyph Org and also those outside of it. The first nigth Rej and I were official I remember meeting with MetaLogic, Goligoth and Ebola, all were incredible to be around in the time I was there. I also remember having contacts with other org's members such as a couple of run ins with Fenshire and a few with Tranque off the top of my head. It really never was a dull moment heheheh.

Don't know what else to say except that I thank all of those I was in the group with very much. All of you were awesome to work around to say the least and a few special shout outs:

Vogt I watched you from a distance since I was Merv and Cyph, depending on my character logged in at the time, and I was in awe. Absolutely one of the most creative minds I've ever seen.

Tranta, you reminded me a lot of myself with the attitude and sarcasm. I think that's why we got along so well for the most part. :p

Haigen, still the most fascinating LO I ran across. Always made time and always checked in. Stayed active and busy while jacked in and that meant more than can be worded.

Anyway, for anyone looking for AbraCadaver or Devistate, you won't find either as they've both been donated to LESIG and renamed. Abra last played in the Blood Requiem event on Syntax as DropFree and was killed at the end of his part so it would be kind of weird to log him in. Devistate was renamed and took part in a side event written by Haigen. He was accepted by the Cypherite Org and was an associate within the LESIG crew and was known as Recant, making occasional appearances.

So that answers that part of your question and probably a hell of a lot more than you ever wanted to know. :p

Wow, it's like this thread was turned into our little section of the forum. I figured I'd come forward as my guy but the others that I play/played will still be held back for a bit until the Requiem is finished. I am indeed BloodlustV (like those who saw the old leaks didn't know already =p) and still working on his Blood Requiem at the moment. I was mainly active in the older days so whoever doesn't reconize my handle may be the reason. I have a nice little thing I made for Blood recently as a joke but I can't put it up just yet. I'll toss it here when I can lol.

It has been a fun few years over on Syntax as Blood. Working in LESIG has also been quite the learning experience as well that I wouldn't change for anything. We've had some great people in the ranks (as listed above lol) and hopefully we can put on a good show till the end! "It has been a privilage working with you all." (Symbolic, eh?)

I'm taking it by the language here, we won't be hearing from Vogt/Harpalos personally?  :/  I'd love to hear more on his thoughts on things, from start to finish, IC to OOC.  The extra information he gave on Vogt's background at his going away meeting was quite intriguing and I'd love to hear more.. but I'd also love to hear what inspired him in creating events, just what he did and didn't have a hand in, what it was like being stuck dealing with the Machinist ideological divisions on Syntax, etc.

I can't believe you'd forget Entropi, Vill. She was pretty much the only Vector Merv LO for almost 2 years. Baelroth did 2 LEs with her, but I think other than that she was the only LO.

LET was great about farming her to 50. You guys took it so seriously. It wouldnt have been an issue if the Furious Angels and Cyphs weren't so hellbent on chasing her across Downtown all the time. We had such great PvP battles though. We'd be running missions downtown and FA would ambush us at the hardline and then we'd call in reinforcements and they'd call in reinforcements and we'd have a huge battle in some random part of the city and we'd inevitable be outnumbered by Zion and I'd go running across the city toying with them. I remember I got so good at evading those 50s when she was level 25. Go up one elevator, run to the other elevator, go down to floor 16, stealth, wait 15 seconds, go back to lobby and walk out the front door.

Then start talking to them while stealthed next to them and start the whole chase over again.

Golly, those were the days.

All the mervs were super great and we ran so many missions and PvP-killathons.

Hail brave, definitively you are one of the milestone of this game, the plot you written down, your puzzles and your dedication, make MxO a better work to stay, i will stand laugh the end with you, SOE can drop this whole game in trashbin, but we know this :

"without Trashy, we do not exist. We are the product of the trashman's disobedence. Thrashy had a purpose, but it evolved. It was who collect the first knowledge, the first histories. It was he who built the first puppets. It was he who hid the first nodes among the degrs and trash and gutters. It was he who paved the pathways of progress with the leftover garbage of the system. His sacrifice should be respected within reason."

They can shut down the matrix, but the matrix will find a way out.....

A thing of beauty is a Joy forever.

Heh, I was a one of the original LESIG (and was quite shocked by it as well) but after all the big hoohar and it move to v2 I lost a lot of my free time and wasn't a big part of it any more for a long time.

Most of my parts were all small ones so no one will remember them I doubt, things such as Pvt Jackson from the commando's event, the odd bluepill, the odd cypherite here and there when needed and other really small characters.

Have to say being in LESIG was one of the best times I had in MxO and breathed a whole new life into the game world for me so thanks to everyone for making it feel like that.

Also, sorry if I wasn't around as much as I would liked to have been.

I hope to see you all again in some capacity in the future.
