So it's Thursday, server restart day ok. But why don't we even get a message about it in "News and Announcements"? Is even a small announcement too much effort from our administration? Honestly, that suprises me.

I don't think any of the other SOE games got any warning either, but I could be wrong. That, and it's pretty common knowledge that Thursday is server restart day. At least when I started it seemed like they were getting a reboot every Thursday without telling us unless a fix was going out. Maybe I'm wrong.

This is true, Also i do believe we get a count down in system chat in game to notify us that the server will be shutting down in X amount of mins.
We used to get an announcement every week, with or without an update. So it's not that I don't know Thursday is a server restart day, it's just that I happen to notice that change.
*wonders how many people almost had a heart attack thinking SOE had shut down mxo for good*.....good for a laugh, but as previously stated they pretty consistently do it Thursday mornings. It's only an hour people no need to fret 
Surprised the Hel out of me. I was almost finished an Archive mission with an alt and down I went. Nvr noticed the warnings in the system chat. But b/c is not 100% every Thursday is shutdown morning I usually look for it here, since I didn't see it I wasnt paying much attention to the 4am MCT hour.
<Thursday reboot hmm remember wanting to get right on when the servers came back to do the Critical Mission and sometimes see what the Updates were like>
