Garu, i think that may have been So3 and you that kinda stepped into that one.
Notice though, not many Vectorities did / have spoke out. Some certain syntaxians couldn't wait to hit the ego train, now that Vectorties kicked back and said they squashed non hostilies in pvp, it's a who's better than who. Even although thats the way certain people had being saying, but well the other way about rofl
I love vectors pvp

Hardly, having a group of players made up from all 3 servers players under the name Vector and ganking people who were testing a combat system is hardly settling it.
If you wanted to settle it you would need to all get on the QA with what you have learned up to now and fight but even then Syntax's numbers would make it unfair.

As pvp shows, numbers don't always mean everything, just more meatshields. Hold on was QA not non hostile? Ganking ain't really possible if it was, just zerging. And Endo i'v already tried to explain, Vector's pvp numbers are about the same as syntax, just syntax has the oppurtunity to get more, but well you'll get the people that won't pvp after they've died or whatever. You's have about the same 20 - 30 people flagging, we have x amount of subs so its just the logging on that causes pvp

- cons: after dying, a team can just hardline straight back through and rebuff (but hey some factions on Vector try to do this too)
- pros: many people consider it taboo to HJ away from a fight
- pros: blue servers tend to have more dueling and build analysis
- pros: more balanced PVP, since most people only flag when they have the numbers
- cons: less frequent PVP, since most people don't flag if they don't have the numbers
- cons: pilling and such is more frequent
- cons: the presence of a large player group that doesn't PVP makes many of the PVPers think they're TEHBESTEVER by comparison
After leveling characters and PVPing on all the servers, that's my two cents. Some differences but also a lot in common.
I can agree with all of this but the highlighted ones.
The PvP is incredibly frequent, especially when certain members of the community flag.
From what i know there are a minority that do not flag on Syntax even Roleplayers like Nicho,M0net,Tave and alot more flag on regular basis.

On a server where nobody knows anything numbers are priority.
It was purely zerging night after night, with people not even representing there server or realizing resistance,accuracy,defence and other factors were needed.
I cant remember if it was Non-hostile or Hostile.
But during the day Syntax's numbers are on frequently, Vectors arent, it would be pointless to even attempt such things if Mxo had the resources because it would be one big Syntax zerg in the games current state.
I'd agree with what Bay put (and i rarely agree with Bay lol) It is less frequent, can't attack people that ain't flagged, or it would be more freequent, not that the freequence says if its good pvp or not.
Test server would have been non hostile, couldn't see the non hostilies liking it if it was hostile. And something you notice on vector, everyone zergs. Its how you deal with it, that makes it better. I'v saw the, disappear for 20 mins or so, then come back as hax / heals, or pull a bunch, kill, next bunch run, kill. Splitting the zerg is always a good idea, but well you don't belive in jumping.. Something that can disadvantage a zerg, is when most are the same tree. A good zerg is a mixed zerg.

I'm aware that it'd be less frequent then a PvP server but it's still frequent.
And i dont mind the fact that everyone Zergs, having playing the Zerg and the Anti zerg i gotta say i prefer the Anti-Zerg, i was merely pointing out that you can't claim one servers better then the other when what i listed affects that :/

It's all good, Brucey. The point is beyond moot now. What seemed like a good idea to spice up both servers turned into a flamefest sadly. Vector is a great server and so is Syntax. Both for their own reasons, imho. Oh... and Recursion too. (>_>' )
Wasn't there a multi-server party abit back? All three servers in one club, or is my memory horrible? Well if it happened, bring it up 24/7 please Mr. Virago, and since I'm calling the shots now give us swords too please, thanks in advance 
We should have a vector promotion. It could go " Wanna get away from the nagging of former players...take a vaction on vector the only thing you'll have to worry about is having a good time.." 
just playing, but it would be nice to see some people from the other servers give vector a try.

I, for one, am thankful for this post... I will be switching to Syntax now.
As a side note... Is there any real impact on choosing Zion, Machines or Merv?
I played when game launched and quit very shortly after SOE took over from WB and am now just coming back. Any tips or advice for a future Duelist would be most apprechiated. Feel free to PM me here or in game. I'll post my RSI soon as I think of a name lol
