Server Promotion (Syntax) - Looking for the rest of you to hop over XD

You're welcome, I couldn't post in the "Rare Item" thread for some reason, as I do not have a post a reply button there. But this thread seemed interesting too.

Plenty of reasons why that happens, sometimes its as simple as mutal respect, sometimes, people just don't pvp without a reason, when thats the case some, including myself will usually leave them alone. That said, wont stop me from typing /who every 30 seconds to see what hyper I need up, or who will be attempting to disable my evade.

Dancing never lasts long anyway, but you my friend, by all means feel free to Riverdance sir.

What's better....a flagged server where we all know and respect one another and occasionally chat?   Or a nonhostile server where 20 people just stand around like Night of the Living Dead where no one says a thing in Area chat for hours?

I'd rather be killed in a gf and lie on the ground dead and have a good convo with friends in a hostile org than jack into Madame Toussaud's Wax Museum and be creeped out by the dead silence.

/dancing is pretty rare on Vector but its better than afk dancing in silence all night for no reason other than to perpetuate a false impression of community.

And I should point out that on Recursion people are nonhostile and do chill out and congregate but at least they chat with one another and are generally friendly and talkative for the most part.

I was trying to let it go but he just kept replying lol was about 4 flamming hours. I finished up a couple of hours from work, walked home. Smoked, dinner, couple of kills and dam still replying. Wasn't until i hit up GTA4 and said 'YOU WON' that he stopped lol

Ebola, i don't hate syntaxians. Certain ones aye. The ones that think they are that dam good (but well aren't.) I'v met a fair bunch of really nice and cool people, but from that theres also a very big bunch of trash talkers. The reason they trash talk, simple, cause they can without consequence.

As i said, i have no prob with non hostilies, just certain mouthy ones that i know fine well most of the non hostiles don't like theirselfs. Invite is still there (right now would be the better time aswell, only about 3 actives that are lowbie hunters ha ha) No skin off my back if no1 comes over though, we all still enjoy it here <3

No, when yous ain't pvpn, i just hear the norm people big mouthing it lol (or half the people AFK) On vector, the odd time it is chilled, it tends to be a very funny time but never lasts for long

Syntaxians try to arrange even pvp, no buffs etc? First i'v heard, cool. Might need to try and hit up on that.

And to think, you went into the syntax forums and accused us of "leeching" CQ's because once and awhile you might be sitting blue flag on a team when someone dies... Well like I said before... It really takes tallent to kill someone dancing in the middle of mara... Or even better to go out and kill some lowbies who are trying to level up...

At least when you get to syntax the vast majority of the time when people are flagged up (unless its the trucing fan club that will only attack Exploits) they're out there fighting... Not out holding hands.

Why shouldnt we brag about the factions CQ's? In case you havnt noticed all you get to represent your time spent PvP'ing is CQ points... And when it comes to CQ points... Exploits - CYPH has the largest assortment of veteran PvP'ers gathered under one faction tag in the entire game and our combined CQ count goes back that point up. Something like 1/5th to 1/4th of the servers total top 100 CQ's are represented within Exploits. So why shouldnt we be proud of that? This game doesnt reward PvP in any other manner, and while the CQ system is less than the ideal system, its all we have.

Seems like a certain few of the members do most of the work (where as you sling a knife or 2 or spam heals.) A meatshield in a way...

I said one of the reasons guy, is it ok if a few people have a nice chat every now and then? On any server, your enemy might have a same org, or even faction alt, we've spent countless hours farming together. there are in game parties, and tournaments where we (gasp) actually get to know each other a bit. 

I think maybe when we start having in-game weddings and pretend rsi children, then by all means jump in and fire away.

Hey, I have no problems with people wanting to stand around and talk... I simply find both funny and completley hypocritical that people from this server now, and historically, have gone around with a superiority complex thinking that they better than everyone else for being flagged 24/7... And that sentiment has been echo'd in this very thread. Yet these same people will seen standing around hand holding with other reds, and defend standing around talking and not attacking when they could be yet at the same time will insult people for doing the same thing on the other servers.

Its hypocrisy at its finest, and that makes it funny.

I've already killed you 1v1 in PvP just as I've killed countless other players 1v1 in PvP. But who cares? Dueling and 1v1's arent PvP.

The simple fact is the combat system in this game is completely random... There are certain ways you can manipulate it... But in the end there's no real skill to a 1v1 fight since its all a coin toss as to weather or not your ability will hit or not. You can do everything correctly and still lose simply because you werent lucky enough to win the roll. That means 1v1's dont prove anything. The real "skill" in this game post CR2 is in group PvP. Just because you can duel doesnt mean your good at pvp. There's more skill to working with a group, and getting a group to correctly work together and take out targets in order of importance than there is being able to simply do good in 1v1's.

And if you had a grasp on team mechanics and how to work with a team and have the team function as a single unit... You wouldnt be running around with some stupid MA load that offers no group support and renders you to being less than a meatshield when you cant get interlock. You think standing outside interlock kicking someone is really helping? rofl.

The simple fact you care about who would win in a 1v1 fight says it all tbqh. Your out to prove that your not simply a mediocre player, and by calling out other players you feel you can accomplish that. Pretty sad tbh.

What is funny is the fact you think that just cause of the 24/7 flagging, we should be attacking each other 24/7. Now that is funny. Thats like us saying yous only /dance when yous pvp.

That word respect comes in again. Some people will take the advantage of numbers and go 'we're pvpn' but others just say 'fook it, we'll maul them. Lets duel and chat.' But as i have said, we can still attack each other and still be attacked. Was just chilling with a couple of guys thats just came back. Was still getting a knifer and a sim guy attacking me. On syntax its blue until flagged so you can't be attacked or choose to attack. Thats why i like it here. Some people you can let walk free, others not.

If you cant support your team, then your worthless in group PvP. So when someone is in interlock getting killed and your just standing there not able to do crap to help them... Your less than a meatshield.

And your scenario about solo PvP fails because there are several other builds that favor solo PvP more than MA does and still offers the ability to help out a team mate who's in interlock.

Anx, have you tried Vector? From what i'v heard no, don't knock it till you've tried it. I'v tried Syntax and i don't like it. And yeah good excuses to why your the easy tree, its easy enough over there. But yeah cool, just means i will be using my ganking load against you now. Remember, MA's have hax dmg, mkt is weak to hax.

But as i always say, i don't pvp to win. That could always end in tears when i loose or need to log rofl Its all about the fun mate.

Don't knock it till you've tried it, really. I know you just trash, trash, trash, but come on, the game is on its last legs and well pvp is not 24/7 on syntax (far from it.) So yeah, keep bumping your gums. I'v played only 2 years here, tried 6 month of syntax and not as enjoyful at all, be it pvp or chilling lol

Anxiety has played on Vector, and the easy tree is Sniper it's a tree that requires next to no effort what so ever.

You said so yourself you only come on Syntax nowdays to smoke, you really havent aquired enough CQ to tell us how "Decent" our PvP is, my buffbot alt has aquired more CQ then you and i hardly use him.

I'm sorry but when someone who has only aquired 800 Cq on a server, tries to give me there opinion on the servers PvP i take it with a pinch of salt, in my book you havent PvP'd enough to make your constantly spouted opinion worth something.

And for someone who "Doesnt care" for Non hostile PvP you sure do like to talk about it in every post.

When you aquired the amount of CQ anyone in the top five on any server has, PvP has just become a farming session.

And no i'm not saying CQ Counts for anything, but it can be measure of ones experience.

So how many did you get here then? ...

Since obviously pvpn for 2 years on a pvp server then 6 months on a non hostile server isnt enough experiance for you, i donno what is.

Both servers are different and it's not about how long you've played it can be measured by the amount of CQ you have aquired that's pretty much the only measure you have that tells you how long you've been pvping over the course of two years or 6 months.

800cq Divided by 180 Days (6 months) averages you on 4cq a day, obviously that's not the exact CQ count or the exact days played merely an estimation, it's not even close either because i'd need your exact ./play and from what i hear that's pretty bugged.

4cq a day isnt the sign of a PvPer or someone who's experienced a large quantity of PvP to determine how good a servers PvP is.

If i was going to apply the same calculation with my Non hostile character on ./play it'd probably be about 15-16 a day.

Even on your main character on a hostile server it'd be less then mine on a non hostile server.

Like i said CQ can only be used for bragging rights and an experience measure obviously the stats above arent accurate as i dont have either of our exact days of play but you can see where i'm coming from.

So how many has you and Anx got here??? Since CQ's mean experiance of server, bla bla.

Remember, i can watch the pvp on syntax and experiance it at the same time, but tbh, why go against a small group of guys on syntax if i can go against a group on vector? And i already have told you i got a fair whack in 3 days, think about if i did treat that char like my main? lol but instead i went back to my main and my alt, because i prefer it. More than half the time i'm on syntax anyways no-one is flagged, and why wait for half an hour for someone to attack me..
