Greetings all,
Some of you may know me, though I'd expect that most wont.... yet.
I'm sure this has been done / said before, but I'm just making a humble post to promote the Syntax server to any of you who haven't yet tried it...
As you all know, we're the 'Populated Server' & you will find people playing there!
If, like alot of players, you've been at it a long time & are looking for something new - come give our server a try! I'm a member of a Merv Faction over there & would be glad to help any players new to the server looking to go merv, but there's alot of active players for all sides XD
A populated enviroment can be fun when leveling, as you have a genuine community at any time. It can also offer a more realistic tint to any RP/PVP you may want, as there will be people there to do it with!
For those who simply enjoy nothing more than some all out PVP - what could be better than not needing to beg other servers to come over and play?
Lastly, I've been told there's some very respectable warriors on here - I challenge you to come & test your metal in the populated world! XD
I hope this will appeal to those of you who haven't yet hopped over, I look forward to seeing you...

Last night I decided to see what all this is about. So I went to syntax. There was a machine, flagged up, shining bright red, right in the middle in front of the mara c hl.
About 10 players all standing around, all blue, all yapping. No one took a blind bit of notice of the red there.
Son of three was one of em ...lol

I'd say theres pvp, 4 or 5 times out of 10 when i log on for half an hour. At that, the numbers are about the same as vector but of course on vector people jump, zomg lol
Red, it gets worse, trust me. I'v had a couple of blue mkts following me about, trying to use disable evasion. People hardline away to go and deflag from the paci zone so they can Firearms LuTS again in safety.
Not just that but if its only you thats flagged, you watch the people twitch. Guarnateed when a FM or bum buddy is along, they'll all flag. Safety in blue and numbers, 24/7 flagging <3

Endo and his faction is one of the more known trash talkers over there, along with So3 so wouldn't surprise me if he did. Yous all know what i'm like with trash talkers he he Except over there, theres the blue safety aspect

On vector you can increase your cq count killing unprepared players and lowbies how boring! On syntax everytime you get a cq that guy was buffed to the max in a pvp build and/or had 3 to 10 of his buddies there with him. When you guys are ready to start earning those cqs come on over and level up an alt. in the words of comserv "carebear stare".

So3, i got 150 cqs in 3 days on syntax, how the hell is it harder than vector? lol Don't think i'v ever managed that on vector, oh aye that was my first 3 days as 50 aswell. My 2 50's here was bugged out so was stuck with it. Not any of our styles mate, its your cause you love the safety of blue and being able to trash talk anyonem while being blue.

Naturally we're not a PvP server so why wouldnt you expect to see Blues around the hardline?

You keep claiming this 150cq in 3 days so going by if you were managing to get 50CQ a day you should've broke 1k at what 19 days? how many months has it been and you're still sitting at 800 something?
It's got nothing to do with the safety of the blue zone what so ever, we're on the most populated server, veteran players from other servers grind characters on our server every other day.
What is the point of us leveling new toons on vector to PvP when we can do that on our home server, i'm sorry if you're going to claim "IT'S BETTER LOL" i and many others have pvped here and we all prefer pvping against Syntaxians.
You could make Syntax a hostile server i wouldnt care in the slightest.

lol 5 hybrid heals each side, about 10 v 10 (when they decide to flag up.) People using cheap tactics. PvP is pretty much clumped round the hardline. Yeah man, spectacular..

No where near 5 healers per side maybe 2-3 at a push but that's where team work comes into play.
Using cheap tactics? i think we can all agree that the cheapest tactic you can use is sniping then fleeing, you wont see much of that on Syntax but in every case you will always get the odd tool.
Not always, mara is the most common place for PvP to happen so of course a majority of the time it's going to take place around the hardline and not that it matters anyway i'm interested in killing people not enjoying the scenery whilst my foot hits someone in the face.

Like i said previously we arent naturally a pvp server so why would you grind a toon to expect pvp 24/7? i dont control what others do it's their choice if they want to flag up, but like i said the Quality is better imo.
Think theres more team work comes into play when you get 8+ mach hax healing from the church, or team+ zions buffing and alt porting.
I have encountered alot of snipe runners, staggering runners etc etc on syntax. Upgrade attacks as blue etc etc. how is that better? Yeah we're experianced and know its gonna hit but how is that better? rofl

Like i said every server has it's snipers/mkts even Vector has these but they're barely noticable in PvP that requires team work which happens quite frequently on Syntax.
It's all a matter of opinion as to what's better.
And i dont PvP for scenery, i go where the CQ is, if it happens to be in Mara Central, so be it.

What difference does location make when you're aiming to kill someone, hence the scenery comment.

I've been 10 on 1'd on numerous occasions infact if i know im in a situation where i'm going to die i just ./dance in the middle of them, I've been part of the zerg and the Anti zerg for the past 4 years i know alot about surviving.
But yet using one of the things that makes this game unique is considered lame? rofl How do you survive without jumping and making the zerg smaller for 10 - 20 secs? Without alt heals please And you dont even load up on resistance so i don't understand how you can 'survive' without backpeddling/jumping and making a bit of work round the zerg lol

I dont need to survive i'll manage to kill the odd one or two and get stampeded until ample machines arrive to overthrow them.
Depending on what i have loaded my resistance is pretty good, everytime you log on Syntax i've swapped back to hacker so i'm stacked up on I.s regen.

You were Proxy/hybrid for a while there but well i know someone that is really good as Proxy and i stand no chance so don't tend to fight them now lol

I'm hacker right now i currently Cycle between Ravager/Ballista or Howitzer for Pvp all dependant on numbers.
No hybrid pure Proxy master/Utility Techinician, and it's next to unbeatable in a duel but of course there is always a rare occassion.
You've just said so yourself "I was the only one flagged" meaning you didnt duel me at all you attacked me under PvP circumstances, lets see you duel me hacker vs hacker when i'm wearing clothing and resistances, correct dodge and other key abilities, like i said the two are different.
But i still do not recall the event in question.
