The reason people are coming back...

Simple. Its the community. I tried out alot of mmo's, beleive me. And I can tell you that MXO has the best community by far. People are realizing that.

And the pvp is STILL fun. LOL imagine that.

Ok thats my take. What about others. Why did you come back?

I couldn't leave.. tried twice I was in CoX, WoW, Guild Wars, Eve, SWG and ummm that's about it.. no anywhere in those games did I find cooler people than the ones in MxO's community, sure we whine a bit here and there about the state of the game and paying for "nothing" to do.. but I'm guessing that's why we're the 1% that didn't reject the philosophical ideas and the revolution the movies brought with it in mixing action packed peewee camera angles with an interlectual mythic/philosophical story.

My next project is to build a pvp viable blaster and start on "matrixy" stories with the new MA...should be a blast.

I agree with this guy, if this game didn't have the community it does right now, MxO would not exist... I bet the game itself is a bunch of pooperscooper, it's just that we can't see it, or deny to see it >_>

Its also the storyline. The storyline seems to draw the same type of people. At least, what they like. The atmosphere of the whole game gives us a chance to be creative. And the live events were the only ones on any game I seen so far. Walrus, you should start them back up.

As well as community, their are other reasons this game is better than most other.

First of all the world is pretty modern, and not to far from our day to day world (by looks at least). Its much better than being in fairy land, and being some random race that fell out of disney.

The Matrix Online allows you to create a character in your own image (or what you would like to be), in the realm of reallity...well almost ^^.
