I know its probably been bought up a million times before...

But what is the go with Red frag drops? I've been farming for 2 hours now, I've killed about 80-100 NPC's and got 2 Frags!
I love this game, but seriously, this really gets on my nerves..

Following Rumbaars Guide on where the frags are located..
Anyone got any tips to get a better drop rate?

The higher the level and rank of the NPC, the more chance they will drop a frag - especially if they're stronger than you.  For this reason the farming is generally best either in high-concentration areas or in the area where the gang boss spawns.

I was farming around the boss, admittedly hitting all the NPC's regardless of rank..

I'm guessing the drop rate must be really low.. like 2%

I don't think that if NPC is A higher then the player farming it will get a better drop rate. When I farm with my lev50 the red frags don't take me that long to get, I think the drops are random and not on a precentage basis..... I think.. Another thing to consider is: How your farming it.  try useing Howi.   good luck

Remember, too, that datamining, whether in the datamine construct or not, also offers the opportunity of getting frags.  I forget which types, but it can definitely be helpful.

Unfortunately, farming frags is basically all about luck.  I've hit those dry spells too, where you only get a couple frags in a couple of hours with of farming.  Then next time you might get 2 frags in only 2 kills.  *shrug*  I can't say that I've ever seen a %age difference based on what level/chevron amount enemies I'm killing, but it doesn't hurt to go after the tougher ones I suppose.
