Got an error saying authentication server is down, can't get the game to start. Anybody having the same problem?

I'm in right now...prob just a hiccup..keep trying....side note..did they ever restart it to fix datamine?

That was my first thought when I saw the title. But for what I know, they didn't.
Ok, now i'm getting alternating errors. Sometimes I get the authentication server failure problem, then I close the program and open it again and then I get patch system error (result code 47) url open failed, patch servers down or internet connection problem.
And yet another wrinkle, I finally was able to log in, then I got the failed to connect to margin server error.
shouldn't this topic be in the support forums. and no.. vector isn't down
Now different zones in richland and westview on vector are crashing ...hardlines going all red etc.....
