Maybe give someone else all the keys to all the doors?

Why is SoE holding onto MxO, and yet not doing anything for it?  I know that they took us as a deal for some MMORPG for a DC or Marvel based MMORPG, but comon.  The Matrix Online deserves better than to be ignored, to not have a lead Dev, to not have updates, etc.  There are other MMORPGs that have lower numbers than we do, and they're treated better than we are.

Maybe it's time we start looking for a gaming company that'd be willing to talk to SoE about turning MxO over to them.  That if we can get past all the licensing issuses and copyrights etc.

That's a great idea.

Hey have you ever considered that with 100,000 subscribers, AOC is considered "failing," and imminent to shut down?

The only reason we're still here is because we look good on the Station Access program, and it was required for DCO. We supposedly come close to breaking even... not a huge profit, but it's there. All the other games on the roster subsidize eachother's existences.

With the number of subscribers there is in MXO, any other company would probably not even be able to finance the GMs, community management, et cetera in addition to developer(s). What other MMORPGs are there out there with low numbers that are treated better than we are? Some open source, free game? Something where users can contribute to the content or add mods? Bottom line: it's not happening. Go see the Omega collector about "accepting things how they are."

I wish the contribute to content part was available. (even if extremely limited)

So, you're happy with us just existing, not having any new content, not having a lead dev, basically being shoved into the closet because the SoE "Family" is ashamed of it's red headed bastard child.  Is that what you're getting at?

I don't think anyone is happy with it but what he said was simply the reality of the situation.

I'd really like to see SOE give us the mission tools like SWG is doing.

Does anybody here think we'll make history by being SOE's first MMO to have to be shut down? I think so.

someone needs to buy MXO , so many 1000's more would play if we had a DEV team to support updates and changes

This game could easily be as popular as EVE online or Anarchy online with the same cult following
