The above image is hosted at the following site owned by Rarebit. There isn't much to the site yet but it has changed once over the last few weeks i've been watching it. The sites below are ones that rarebit owns. supermassiveblackholestar domain was claimed on dec 20, 2008.

Picking Green(-ish blue) gets you a banquet. Perhaps with...steak?
Picking Red gets you a dance. Action. A choreographed ballet of inter-locked movement, if you will.
From Rarebit's original musings of the above image. So by pressing the 'green (blue) button' we are chosing the banquet. The choice that Cypher made? Is he encouraging us to accept what we have because wanting or expecting anything else will leave us disappointed?

Anyswuck, if there really is anything hidden like a meaning or something in that picture, would somebody just freakin' tell me already, cuz I don't get it!
The secret is, right click the green button, click properties, then highlight http://www.supermassiveblackholeastar.com, copy it, then paste it to your browser.

That seems to be the same illustrative style Rarebit used for the couple cinematics he made. Perhaps he is working behind the scenes, or on another project?

Before A*, I knocked around the web for a while on various projects, including a web design startup run for a couple years with an old school chum, and various media review collections: a fan site for the video game "Outlaws," and little sites made for my own amusement covering things like movies, books, the script of the hilarious space shooter "Explosion Invincible Bangai-O" (set around the planet "Dan Star"), and video games in general. I worked in the video game industry for ten years, starting at Monolith Productions and ending up, under the handle "Rarebit," as the sole remaining designer on a story-driven massively multiplayer game called "The Matrix Online."
It was during my time on that project that I began making animated cinematics, the first two of which are still hosted here and here. These and A* are drawn in a curious process I came up with while in the Art & Design program at the University of Chicago, where I began--on an ancient computer known as an Amiga, in an equally ancient program known as ImageFX--drawing using the "lasso" tool as digital corollary to the spontaneity and freedom of painting in oils. In these decadent modern times where lasso tools are less fully featured, I draw A* on a PC in my favorite obsolete version of Photoshop, number 4, using a Wacom Intuos3 6x8 tablet.

It is quite cool to see how far and how well Rare's animation skilles have developed, since coming here.
I especially liked the style and fluidity of the animation movements, even if the story's pace was a little slow to begin with.
I'm really looking forward to where his story is going to go.
