Just listening to the audio alone you can tell the guy was doing something wrong, I dont blame him for screaming yeah the F word was a little excessive but hey they guy was told to stop and he didnt.

That totally stinks of misinformation. He alledgedly assaulted his mother after she insulted his wife. The term "assault" in the UK (where the offence took place) also includes verbal assault. There was no physical violence of any kind.

No you're not going to win this. The director of photography obviously is a moron. You tick off a talented actor and when he finally goes off, instead of defusing the situation you act a moron and continually push him. The DP a F just as Bale said.

On the other hand, none of us were there so no one knows the context. The DP couldn't have been a total chode otherwise he wouldn't be the DP for Terminator 4. They just dont pull DPs off the street. Bale probably had a bad day and took it out on the guy.
Which is understandable, but I don't think bad behavior should be rewarded by saying that because he's an A List actor everyone should bow down and let him run amok and treat people like sh!te. But like I said, once is understandable, but if he's like that all the time with everybody then I have no sympathy for him.
