Piece of a blue sky concert

I think we should bring something like Piece of a blue sky event back, or something that could cheer us all up...just a little a bit. The whole story and event that took place, was amazing and really good work from the dev's and the lesig. Not to mention all the players who put work in the video's and music.

Well, look at is this way.. since the Oracle is dead, there's no way she can be back to do the same ol' anniversary event this year.. right?

Unless there's an easy alternative like replacing all the Oracle parts with Sati.

Eh...  I really didn't like the Blue Sky event.  Granted, it's a heck of a lot better than what we've had over the past year...  but still.  It just didn't float my boat.  What I did like, was that it introduced a lot of elements that gave me a lot of hope for future events...  the changing sky (even though we had seen that before with the eyes and flies), the unique clothes, the concert set pieces, and the ability to show video within the game.

The "video within the game" feature could've been BRILLIANT for events...  but instead it got used to endlessly repeat annoying Wendy's ads.

I would much rather we have something completely different and new for this year's anniversary.

No offense or anything but when have we had anything new?

I think the game is on emergency life support and you wont ever see anything close to something like this or any live events like it, I know we wont have the crowd during A Piece Of The Blue Sky Event that had to be unbelieve lag with so many players and NPC's all at once, miss things like that...

You know, this actually does bring up a good point.  With the Oracle supposedly dead (I'm assuming she's perma-dead, because otherwise I don't think Rarebit would've made her RSI one of the Halloween Masks for 200, what exactly is going to be done for this year's Anniversary Event?

Blue sky made me sad inside until we finally got to kill stuff

I'd like to have a party, like we did some years ago at Club Hel as part of the Holiday events. We danced, had contests and a bit snowball fight! Quite the event.

There was a time when the Devs sponsored those. Whatever happened to them?

Would love for this to happen!

I missed out on the Blue Sky Event. I wanted to do all the funny stuff that was going on =(
