hey few noob questions

Few questions, im a newb on this, bought it years ago but never played it, started yesterday, level 5 beating up the gangs in the alleyways, learning fast about the game and its depth and what i want to do, going towards kung fu branch, hoping to meet some of you guys around sytnax, cant find many players though which is weird, its like the place is deserted, going to work on mapping out every hardline in richlands tonight

one quick question, is purchasing info online a bannable offence? i play Eve Online where you can be banned for purchasing their currancy online, and obviously 100 million info for £50 is tempting, can you be banned for this?

also, which faction is better to go for, merovingian machines or zion?

Welcome, I played for a while in 2005 and then returned a few days ago, I'm a UK player and I too have noticed that the later it is in my time zone the more players I see, I'm still getting to grips with it all again also, not alligned to an organisation yet either, just running through the old chapters.
