I cant remember exactly what they're called , but the sleepwaker lvl 50 dual smgs seem to die to fast. I had a full purity pair that I started using at the beginning of this winter event, that i used to get snowflakes and they died in 3 days. Gone. Poof. Repaired it twice. the last a week or 2 max depending on how much fighting you do. Bug needs fixing...
Rare has made a post (can't remember where) saying that the smg's do have a faster decay rate. All the SW gear seems to decay quite fast, i'v used up a dot on both my jeans and dana already, where as my SSR shades broke a week before my dana.
I'm still on my first Area K (farmed prob about a year ago.) I can't see any of my SW gear lasting that long 
my jeans havnt lost any and i got them when they first came out lol
same with danna but the shirt has lost half
If you read the SMG's details, they say that because the item is both enhanced and silenced, it dies quicker.

no kidding? last time i get a pair of those ... but still, the decay rate seems alot faster than need be... id understand it if the enhanced stats were insanely great, but still it just seems to fast...
