Hyper Jump, maybe I'm being dumb...

Ok, so I know I can use Hyper Jump to select where I will jump.

My problem is that when I'm running and I press my ctrl+space (I put it to F) I just jump straight into the air, not forward. Is this how it is supposed to work?

I haven't played since beta but I think I remember being able to hotkey it and just hj through the city without selecting it from the hot bar.

Any suggestions?

You need to hold down your hotkey for HJ as well as holding the direction you want to go, otherwise you'll get an aborted jump like the one you're seeing.

I suppose it's also possible your bound key is already assigned to something else and that conflict may be causing the problem.

yea i always wondered why it was hold/abort i guess it makes since but not if you trying to do something else you get finger tied sometimes >.<

One thing that has annoyed the life outta me is, when you press to hyperjump straight up and down (releasing the keys) but it does a full hyperjump instead... And then when i try and release the keys to do a full hyperjump it doesn't work!!!

Happened yesterday on syntax, only ment to hyperjump so the one attacking me would get interlocked and i would get the other red. Instead i jumped miles away without meaning it
