Hey guys, I bought this game along time ago cause i saw it for 10 bucks at an ebgames, never really got into it, or even really tried playing it tbh.

Im ready to give this game a real shot, because those I've met who played it or play it, say once you break the ice, the game is actually really good.

Few questions as a newbie.

Which server is the most populated?

What are the specific differences between the seperate Vector-Hostile server ruleset and the others?

How limited is PVP on the non Hostile servers?

How does end game content play in? is there any? and is it traditional raiding or is it something unique?

How does end game pvp content play in? besides ganking, and pvp fighting is there any in game events to create incentive or add to the pvp experience?

What role besides pvp, do factions play? (Machines, Zion), im assuming on vector-hostile, its machines vs zion open pvp. But morso this question is directed towards non hostile servers

I guess that somes it up, im literally sitting here at login screen, all done patching and have no idea which server to choose, I like a crowd, the more people I see and interact with, the more inviting an mmo is for me, the quickest turn off to any mmorpg for me is to spend hours without seeing another player.

I love pvp, but I rather be on a non pvp server that has a high population, and good density of players and social interaction, than be on a pvp server, where you are hard pressed to ever run into anyone.

With that in mind, I am going to patiently await an informed response to this thread before creating a character on a server that doesn't pan out. I really want to give this game a real shot, and therefor I want to make sure Im playing on a server that will provide the most immersive experience possible to my type of play.

Thanks in advance for any information provided!

1) Syntax currently has the most population.

2&3) On Vector-Hostile you are flagged for pvp at level 16 and above except when entering a pacification zone.  This means players from opposing orgs can attack you.  On non-hostile worlds you can type /pvp to flag or just attack a player who is already flagged.  In addition to this you will be flagged when you pick up a luggable or enter a construct (except Sati's).

4) Content in MxO is generally not the same as in other games, although there are similarities.  The best equipment is available only to level 50s and there are many encounters that can only be handled at max level.  The best way to get a feel for how our challenges work is to jump in and give it a go.

5) Up until recently we had a Live Event every day, some of which involved pvp.  There are a number of activities that involve being flagged but generally you'll find people pvp for the sheer joy of the fight.

6) The Faction you join becomes your family.  They hang out with you, show you how to do things and help you with abilities, equipment and levelling.  Some factions also host events websites or radio stations.

While Syntax has held that title for a long period of time I think it's a little innaccurate because each server has higher populations at certain times.

The majority of Syntax is European players.

Recursion as far as I understand is more of a US playerbase (although I don't go on Reccy often so I could be wrong)

Vector is also more of a mix although it's probably around 40% EU and 60% US
