I'm also starting up something soon. It's a bit of a gimmick, I guess. But there's plenty of RPing involved and I need at least 4 other people.

I had thought the same thing. However, I am guessing NavMatrix's post being as an offer of invitation to Tazgrent to join him in this endeavour. In the outcome that they are not joined with an existing Merovingian faction, they may wish to join NavMatrix in this new endeavour as described.
I am sure NavMatrix would and will be more than willing to ammend any of what has been said or correct for any misinterpretation which may have occured on my part. Primarily, to Tazgrent, of course.
As far as I know Taz is alrdy with the nobles.
