Tutorial not loading?

I just got the game, and started it up. I went throught the RSI creations screen, saw the alley with the camera, filled out the name stuff, hit accept and nothing happened. The buttons greyed out and my guy just kinda stands there. Nothing happens and I waited almost twenty minutes. Is there something else I'm supposed to do?

Make sure to fill out both your handle and blue-pill name, only thing I can think of you might be missing.

I did, and I hit Accept. It greys out, and he just stands there. I heard from a friend who plays that Nairobi is supposed to get you, but nothing happens on my end.

I think I may have found a solution. I'm going to try to launch from the Station Launcher, becuase it said it could not find game when I scanned it.

How long did you take during character design?  Sometimes if you take too long the server stops listening for your computer.  Try again and see how you go?

Edit: Oh, it's possible that you ran into our recent update problem in some way.  Should be fine now though.

If you were trying to create a character on Recursion, your error may have happened because Recursion's servers went down earlier today. One of those servers is where they keep the name and faction database.
