as stated in the other threads asking the same thing, I dont belive they have given an actual date. However given that updates occur on thursday, and I would expect them to have the winter event started before xmas, look for it iether this thursday (the 11th) or next thursday (the 18th). I forsee next thursday myself.
If we're running the same patch schedule as always, its set for the 18th.

Not soon enough 
I've been guessing either the 11th or the 18th, but since we haven't had a definate announcement yet, I'd say it's more likely to be the 18th.
But watch Rare or Virrago post something tomorrow about the Winter shenanigans starting this Thursday, the 11th. :: Laughs::

I dont see whats so sweeping about it?
I thought its quite clear. I do not believe the people that run this game have any idea what they are doing, therefore i wouldnt expect to see a winter patch when everyone else does. There.. any clearer for you?
