Thus my assertion that the event was not random at all, but the expected response to the new approach being followed.  I'm sorry that the new approach isn't accessible to everyone, but it certainly was to us.  We're happy to be the guinea pigs and report an all-clear from this end after the first shakedown.

God, i don't even fully get the arguement and i already want to punch both parties for arguing in such a lame manner. Stop it.

As for it being IC for you to not pass the message around to allies, it is quite pathetic to be snapping after a chance to live up to your ingame character's ideology in a time when other people's engagement and interest in the game is at stake. Not that it would have saved subscriptions, but it would at least have dampened the pace the numberous "Bring back LE's!!!111one" threads are popping up at.

To my knowledge it wasn't but well is now since nothing was specified other than it probably wasn't in Downtown or International.

The initials of the locations of the path of the BIP spell a simple word.  Probably a coincidence.

Very cool event!  I like ones like this...just interacting with the characters, maybe finding out new information.  I hope there are more of these.

And I copied that from the last listed sequence statement by Ghost (except the stuff in parenthesis, which I added to see if it helped make a word, which clearly it didnt)... so... inform us all please.. screenies missing something?

On a different note, gonna try not to be negative here but... I was at the Zion meeting, I engaged in debate about it all. I tried NOT to spam the whole meeting with my theories about the BIP and everything else. Is PS1ON suggesting that if I had, the LE would have come my way? I agree that Rare probably did choose your group because you participated. But we had THREE meetings, with a LOT of participants, and ONE LE with you guys. I'm sorry, its called luck of the draw... get over it...(and i really want to say sarcastic things about waiting for a special time for post 777, but... hurrr... refraining)

And I sure hope the future of LE's is NOT one on one chats between a Character and a small group of Operatives, as this mostly seems to yield a whole lot of.. well... anyway... my point is, All I got out of reading this LE were PS1ON's theories about the BIP, and hints that Rare wants us to know the sequence of appearances is important. Or maybe its not... and Ghost remembered something... gah, guess we'll know more in January..

So that means Rarebit also will chose some from the Merovingian and Machines next time he pop's in on a LE char.? That makes no sense at all. It would also mean, that if you'r not at one of those organizations meetings, you will have a very little chance if any at all to met any LE's in the future? And if you don't even have a char. on that server where the organization meeting is, then the chance to meet a LE is = 0%.

The focus of this thread is what went down as opposed to who was present isn't it?  On that assumption I'll just say that when I found out about this I felt some serious deja vu and it was welcome!  Things like this happened in this manner back in the "old days".  Random appearances of main characters as needed and eventually a LE with everyone being in the know.  Where's the problem? 

A RP response to what happend by the lucky party on DN1, where's the problem?  Other than taking what was said the wrong way, where's the problem?

I admit to a speck of jealousy concerning main character meetings in game towards the lucky parties but never anger and I never really voice it (until now anyway).  I get over it pretty quick.  I'm happy this went down and happy for the Brethren to have been present.  That is usually how I end up feeling about something that went down that I or my faction was not able to attend.  The only time I stay negative about something like this is when a new player is present and has no clue who he or she is talking to or what in God's name is going on!  However, I still find the humor in that haha!

Of all the times I have run through access keys, hardlines and access nodes with operatives of all org's it could have easily been me in Mannsdale that day.  Now maybe everyone can focus on what happened and investigate the findings to yield some answers...or more questions as that is usually what happens in the old Matrix

I don't really have issue with stuff like this.  The way I look at it, I was here for the Monolith days and got to experience LE character interaction when it was at it's greatest.  A lot of these guys weren't around for that, so I think it's great to for them to see the kind of stuff that we got on an almost daily basis back then.

As far as my character's views on it...  well, he'd quote the great Trilateral:  "I've saved the world enough.  Time for these new burgers to pick up some slack." (paraphrased)

I was just thinking the same thing about the Lupines. Each one has several claws, I can see them, can't be hard to rip at least one of each lupine that gets killed!
