Stephen Colbert is launching "Operation Humble Kanye" by taking on Kanye West for the number one spot on itunes. Colbert is doing this because "If his head gets any bigger, it will explode and then we will all be covered with sunglass shards."

So he is asking everyone to buy his album from Itunes. The money from the sales goes towards Feeding America (a charity). If at all possible, Colbert wants everyone to buy it at 5:00pm est.

Here's the video of Colbert talking about his challenge to Kanye West: VIDEO

Here is the link to buy the album: HERE

While Kanye sometimes has catchy music, he is not the voice of this generation of this decade. SMILEY  He is not God's gift to music nor anything near it.

I didn't know the money from Colbert's album went to charity, so I might do this.  We should knock Kanye off his high horse.

I would do it, but then he might call me a racist.

Plus I'm broke.

Colbert=God's gift to his self.

"Colbert=God's gift to his self."

QFTMFTMFers!

Bought it after the show last night.  It's cheaper than most albums, partly because there aren't many songs (nine).  I personally enjoyed "Little Dealer Boy".

I'm buying it; he thinks he knows politics, and fancies himself intelligent, ha! I seriously, seriously, don't want his glasses-shards on me, either.

As soon as I get the cash, I'll definately buy the album. Does anyone else here think "Stronger" sounds better with Kanye's voice stripped out of it (all the better to hear Daft Punk)?

Sounds like 2 worthy causes.

I bought it, hope it does knock Kanye out of number 1

#36300525712 12/03/2008 15:40:02 Re:Colbert challenges Kanye

Guarentee if he does get knocked off he'll say something along the lines of, 'Look at the effort that was put in to knock me off number 1 spot'.

Good way to promote your name and a charity, though.
