People complain when Gi's without pants are removed, so was it done so we could have this for christmas?

I'm hoping that there's a story quest in this update. As I, for one, am a bit tired of the Winter Simulacrum fighting.

Much like the winter and anniversary shirts and unlike the Hallowe'en masks, these are wearable outside of the winter holiday event. Last year's white winter shirt has become part of my main's usual gear.
Hardly what I'd call winter attire but I'm sure a lot of people will be pleased to see them.
It makes me wonder though, the original Gi model was changed for the Ninjas, does this mean that one of those precious model slots has been used up in bringing us this? In which case, although not new, they are unique now.

And no one that has a main female RSI has posted complaining that they're back, so far it's been main male RSI's. I know it's ironic that a few made a big stink about the legs being on the gi's and they were removed, but at least be glad he has a way to reintroduce them so now we have to option to wear legs if you want them or not. I mean, how many gi's do you see in PVP anyway?
I always love the Winter events and the clothing that comes with it. What would the male equivalent of the bathrobes be.... boxers?

Whoops, my bad! Sorry! Though I did have a faction mate last year who was in a panic that she wouldn't be able to wear her winter shirt past the Christmas/Winter Holiday event.

As nice as it is too see them back I do hope a valuable clothing slot wasnt wasted on these as personally I would rather see a 'new' item not a recycled one!
I am still grateful that some intrest is being paid to content but xmas only comes once a year so cummon be creative hehe!
Looking forward to the other 'New' items. Suprise us make something none of us were expecting or will say RECYCLED to! lol

Pink is lame, I never saw any Matrix characters wearing pink... I'm not sure what this pink and brightly colored clothing obsession is... but hopefully the rest of the clothing or whatever is revealed is better.

And yes, aside from the pink and red there are going to be other colours, at least there is a choice rather then just the dull black and white. If you don't want to wear a bright coloured outfit, don't get it.
I don't think the color selection is so much the issue(and I was joking about pink. It has it's place and I know my taste in palette isn't everyone's.), but more that this is little more than recycled stuff that we've already had at one point. It's almost like taking prophet dusters away, just to give them back to us around Halloween. :/
I dunno... I mean if the majority are excited about it then cool. Again, I just hope the other stuff lined up is more interesting.

But what annoys me is, (and yes before everyone says it my main is male but i do have a female alt) that this model has already been taken from us before and alot of people didn't like it, while yes we are getting it back its not forever, its for a limited time only with low buffs and some god awful colours (again personal choice but thats just my opinion)
