This is a sad day for E Pluribus Neo.  We have lost a founder and the dove of our organization.

Her thoughts confused and now at peace,
All her troubles mistakenly released.
Her life ended from the grip of her clasping hand,
From a world she couldn't understand.
No more songs to sing, no secrets to share,
No smiles to give, just grief to share.
We who are left behind, have a long road
to walk...a goal to win
for our saddest hours that we now share...begin!
Our smiles will be a little longer
And the pull a little stronger,
For now the friendship we will preserve,
And memories will safely be put away of her.

We respect all that you did for us, Shimada.  We love you and will miss you dearly.

Indeed Hydra.  Though I was never in EPN, she always treated me with respect and I her.

At least now we know why she was a halloween mask this year...

With that logic Seraph, Persephone, Cryptos, Veil, and the Merv are about to get killed off.

<3 Veil. A job well done.

You just can't stop watching the footage over and over again.

This day is going to be remembered for justice and freedom.

In great disrespect to all terrorists.

I will miss Shim, she was one of the coolest people I know. She was a great soldier! Her death will be avenged.

#36300518187 11/06/2008 22:22:15 Re:In Loving Memory of Shimada

Liek, Shimada can recon

I know it seems like she died, but you never know... (Sploitz )

Edit: Isn't disrespectful, seriously, you never know.

#36300518189 11/06/2008 22:29:53 Re:In Loving Memory of Shimada

On a serious note:

It saddens me to see her go, she had a life, and veil took it from her...

She wishes not to be avenged by killing her murderer but by puting her to justice.

Shimada will be dearly missed and this will only strenghten the epn soldiers, rest in peace... Shimada

((I never got to be in any events with her SMILEY ))

./salute

Veil continues to amaze me, to infultrate an epn hovercraft and not be detected, kill an EPN controller and still manage to escape, Just amazing...

Rarebit plays all the characters. Except Shimada. Okay, he played as her sometimes, but so rarely that her character didn't evolve enough.

Then one day, Rarebit's thinking, "You know what? I should kill off some major story character to make the players think the story is still very intense! Who can I do for that... actually, why not kill off two birds with one stone! Now I don't have to worry about you anymore, ah haha."

Whippow, Shimada's dead.

Meanwhile, Veil actually has a nice rump so why kill her off?

The path of least resistance...

fixed

Veil is your typical cookie cutter stereotype of the cool sophisticated psychopath sexy female. Her back story and "evolution" (if it can even be called that) is the same as any other character that's ever been this part. She's as dimensional as a cardboard cut out and the only depth found within her is about puddle deep.

At least she had one, and is entertaining, at that. Shimada might as well not have existed.

*Edit: You'll notice I didn't say Veil has a deep background. She's as simplistic as it comes when you get down to psychobitch, but a personality is a personality, and it's been a proven enjoyable one, so why knock the cliche if it still makes you smile at the antics?

And you will notice I didn't correct you on anything said about Shimada. Only Veil, who's background was made up by LET not Rarebit. And not everyone finds it enjoyable, compared to the characters from the movies and some of the others we have Veil is right down at the bottom of the list, heck I'd put her just a notch above Shimada.

Give me depth over cliche and purpose over looks any day.

Devil or angel? I'll leave that for whatever deities that reside within the system to decide... Losing a leader is never an easy thing to face, and for all that have been hurt by this, my thoughts and prayers are with you even if I don't necessarily agree woth what you believe in.

I'd just like to say, this was a fitting and touching memorial. I'm glad I got to add my own words to the procession.
