Just a quick question, is the female Valshamr supposed to go in the coat slot not the shirt slot? as the male one goes into the shirt not the coat.. just wondered

Yes, I asked Rare about this before. It is just like how Gi's are outerwear for men and shirt slot for women.
The female System Suit, which uses the same item model as the Val, works the same way, unfortunately.

That's a pain, males can wear there area Ks + Valshamrs for the 300pts extra health but females can't do the same :z

I agree. It should be in the shirt slot just like dresses. Mainly for aesthetic reasons though. Since males can wear the Area K, that means females can wear a "super shirt" underneath so I suppose there's balance in some form.

Hm.. but the only shirt you can wear with decent health regain is the pecks shirt (20%), Direwolf + Area K is much better than that!

The Kunoichi Gi's for women go in the shirt slots for women and go in the outerwear slots for men, so again same issues in variety and possibilities.
I guess that means there's advantage and disadvantages for both males and female depending on the circumstances.
