As being the #1 24 fan I would like to start the discussion of what is to be the most godlike season in history. Jack Bauer is back, the latest season has seemed to revert back to the original one in the sense that its more personal storylines, no more nukes, no more 25th ammendments and so forth.
It's been a while. It's worth the wait.
i thought this was season 7.
Well I would certainly love to argue with you about being the #1 fan! But anyway, I cannot wait for the 23rd. I think time as we know it is slowing down and I need my fix. I do hope they stick with the personal storyline like Season 1 because it was truely a great season. I'm still wondering how they are going to reconcile Tony, but I'm glad to see him back regardless.
At least Kiefer doesn't do drunken roid raged ventrilo rants against Zudrag over DDoS.
But anyway. Everyone knows I own at 24 knowledge. And yes. This season will surely own. I like how they disbanded CTU and got rid of it, it obviously overstayed it's welcome. Id like to see how it plays out with the Madam President/Jack Bauer interaction, pretty neat that Jack will have to deal with a President that he has no history with.

The only fear I have is that the only President who ever really listened to Jack was David. I'm hoping that they sort of reverse it this year and have a President that is more opened-minded about taking Jack's advice.
Also, I fear that most of the conversing in this thread will be done by us. I made a 24 thread before and it died a very quick death.

I think Redemption is going to be awesome. For one, it's a conflict that isn't a huge terrorist attack and is much more humanitarian based, which I think will be great to Jack do. But in saying that it still looks like it will be action packed.

i thought Redemption was prettty good not great Its Great seing jack back for almost what 2 years now and it did a good job for seting up for the begining of this season
I do have to say Keither sutherland looks kinda tired playing jack i dont know if thats how he was supose to look like or what but he didnt seem like he looked like the last Jack we saw on season 6 it makes me wonder if 7 will be the last season Sutherland does as Jack i dont know how many more seasons 24 has signed up i think they may have one more contracly if the strike didnt throw things off
Redemption was great. Kiefer's playing of Jack has always been top notch. Jack will always be there. You have to remember that Jack has been running away from a subpena for a year now. Of course he's going to be tired. If you look at the trailer's for season 7, he doesn't look like he does in redemption.
I was pretty impressed with Redemption, been waiting on it for a while. Now i'm really looking forward to series 7, should be interesting to see Jack in a different situation

I had the unique opportunity of attending an advanced screening of 24 season 7. (The first two episodes) Without a doubt, Jack Bauer is back and the show looks better than ever. I also won all 6 seasons of 24 and 24: Redemption on DVD!

Great start to the season! Tomorrow night looks even better to cap off the 4 night premier (as was the case in season 6). Can't wait!
Yes indeed! the last two are even better than the first two. The tight knit storyline is riveting, nothing short of Godly. The blue tint and Renee Walker is a plus.
I think it's pretty cool so far. I've already got my theories about tomorrow night. I like Walker, it seems like they wanted to have a powerful female agent alongside Bauer.

I won some 24 trivia from a local radio station. They gave me all of that, threw in family guy dvd box set too and I got to watch the first two premiere episodes of 24. Godlike stuff.

Concerning spoilers in this thread, I dont mind them but I'd like to keep it to spoiling things that have already happened. 
After seeing the first 4 episodes, I believe that the "best season of 24" may actually be correct. It feels more personal and there are a lot of good and interesting things going on already. The actors all seem very good and the setting really couldn't be better.
That was INTENSE. I didn't think I could love this show more than I do now, but those 2 hours just changed my mind. Not sure what my feelings are about them portraying Walker as a sort of female JB, but I will give it time and see what happens. The confrontation between Emerson and Jack when it comes is gonna be awesome. Chloe was spot on tonight. And the little convo between Jack and Tony about breaking Tony's neck was hilarious. I can't wait till next Monday.
Id ram Special Agent Renee Walker in the pooper. I actually like her hypocrasy and how she questions Jack on how he can do what he does, and then she sticks a gun to his cut and cuts his Oxygen flow. Pretty nice stuff. I actually hated Jannis Gold, she is disgusting and needs to go like ASAP. Agent Moss is actually refershing, like an FBI version of Mason.
I love the First Gentelman's storyline, its pretty refreshing, im kinda indiffrent about the whole whitehouse storyline but theres room for improvement. I love how Jack said basically, screw with me and I turn you all in. Pure awesomeness.

I think she saw how well Jack's methods work and decided she would try them out.
