downloaded this game from direct2drive and i cant get it to work

at first i was getting an error telling me that i was unable to write to the matrix exe ... i opened program with admin didnt seem to work .. so i installed everything and tried to download instead from sony's own location ...

now i have seemed to get the launcher working but it just freezes on authentication ..

im running vista home premium ...

there is another post by you for a similar issue.. check your firewall settings..

After that check the patch full system toggle switch on the launcher application..

so others who have my problem have an easier time .. ill explain my fix

i had to #1 turn off the function in windows that protects users i forget what it called now .. the mechanism which constantly asks you if you are sure you want to do this and it asks you to allow a program to run or to change things ..

when i turned that off ... installed and updated fine ...
