Well I'll be darned. Harder to trick one's ways to these tokens than I'd thought, then.
EDIT 1&2 (darn smilies): ;)

Nothing comes to mind to exploit with this collector system, seems pretty solid. "Our" current method is just leveling characters in each org if that gives you some idea.

run.trade.re-run. should be easy enough

Well... yeah. The point was though that members of an org, unless they have alts in the appropriate org, can't easily get the items of another org without having to trade with someone who already has them. Considering that we don't know how long, how much effort is required to complete these missions, trades may be quite rare unless the right amount of $i was offered. I think that's what Rarebit was wanting.
Heh, I bow to the public opinion
(and the arguments about the org stuff already available via the crit archives) I think it's hard enough to get the new gear now anyway, and sure if you really want the item you shouldn't be completely barred from it in regards to game balance and buffs.
I hope the org restrictions are taken off somewhere down the line storyline wise. So like the Archive missions we can, in hindsight, appreciate all sides of the story.

Hm, I'm not with you there Cloudwolf. I appreciate that there's things I have to ask my "spies" in Zion about

Yeah, when its all current and relative but so many months down the line it won't matter anymore and there'll be no point in denying 1/3rd of the theoretical player base 2/3rds of the content and/or story. Still restrict the rewards, sure, but have us able to run the story side of things.
All I'm saying is these story quests should be archived in a similar fashion to how the Archive missions are now, unlocked a chapter at a time.
Talking about Org clothing being restricted to rep (even though it's not gonna happen) reminded me about the April fools SOE podcast when they said that anyone who isn't a Machinist but wears the System shades will get a chance to have an Agent spawn to slap them off their face! That was amusing. But yeah, I like the direction Rare is heading down with the content, you really want another Orgs clothing item then you have to buy it (or RP steal it), or have an alt/friend in that Org.
I have to ask. Will these org items be good in terms of stats or be just there for aesthetics.
I may be completely wrong, but the way Rarebit worded it, it sounds like the Org clothing may have some decent buffs which complement certain loads, thus why we had the conversation about being able to trade.
Ah found the quote, although I have to wonder if I'm reading too much into it...

so if the Mervs for instance get an item you really feel would benefit your loadout, you can still get it, and thus won't ultimately be negatively affected in terms of game balance by your choice of org;
Quick question rare, will any of the items need 127 rep, and if so is there any plan to change that system?I haven't gotten a rep point in about 40 missions

40? 0.0 i've run over 100 on 50's that have 110-114 rep and have never gotten a rep point
so sad

I agree with Cloudwolf wholeheartedly. And I'd like to ask Rarebit to consider this request if I may.

Yeah, I agree. I have busted my butt getting my mech alt and merv alt to 30 thinking I would be able to run all missions again. I simply don't have the energy nor time to get 2 more RSIs to 50 so that I can get all storyline. And that is what it's going to take to experience it in first handed. This is the only part of the new approach that frustrates me.
Hm, not bad. But I would like seeing more black clothes than multicolor clothes. The Hampton Jacket would be nice in black.
Yes, because MxO doesn't have enough black clothing.

I see what you did there...
And agree with it. lol.
