We all know it yet i have failed to see anyone make a post. Just cause its over powered doesn't make it right SMILEY

On my main char I have them but only wear them when i am fighting against someone that has them on aswell. Since their release i'v had a good 6 or 7 20 mins+ duels. Only state specials can wipe someone out, and thats only if you can follow up after it aswell. I'v managed to get back to full health after being Tomo'd.

The negative IS regen is really good but i think the Health regen should get lowered to 30 rather than 40. Discuss.

Yeah they are good but a bit too good. I think the way how Rare has done it has been, lowered IS so double Health which i just don't think thats the right way to go about it.

The way how it is if you don't have the SW jeans is you need to be lucky and get 2 state moves in to kill someone, if not your gonna struggle to get them down to at least half health. Just lowered a bit, not totally nerfed.

It's fine as it is Bruce...I have no problem with it.In fact it reminds me of CR1 when regen was working!

Yeah :/

I am a bit concerned how rare got the idea to overpower certain buffs in certain items to make them "1337". Oh and -10% IS regen on the pants isn't enough for a balance since I am yet to see an item with just 35% HP regen and all the other stuff on it and since most people wear 2 IS regen items anyway.
#36300512300 10/20/2008 07:19:17 Re:SleepWalker Jeans
I think the buffs for more powerful classes like MA or MKT might be extreme but for Hackers its not.   We would like to see more clothes specific for Hackers, I think we are due.

I can assure you, that is NOT because of those pants, it's because of your skills. I've had way longer duels without those pants way before the sleepwalker update.

Going by your maths Swimming. Where you say there are no clothes with just plain 35% health regen. I'm assuming you went 45% -10% = 35%

Therefore you consider the two equal.

Seraphim shoes grant 20% Health regen and 15% IS regen, for an overall of 35%.
If you are reading this my sig didn't work T_T
#36300512331 10/20/2008 08:21:21 Re:SleepWalker Jeans

Considering how Seraphims are chosen over every other footwear in the game, yeah you could probably say that's overpowered too.

Duelists vs. Duelist duels take a considerable length longer than they should with the pants.

Not to say Duelist vs. Duelist duels are fast. lol

You are right Pylat. Now everyone lets get all kinds of regen clothing to completely be able to ignore combat state debuffs...

I think your health regen %'s, max out after a certain point. So it's not like you'd become Neo or anything. I will admit though, having enough health regen to boost it up near 50 health points per second is a bit overpowered.

Not to be a poop but are you all forgeting EoC?:

Seems with EoC  the pants just help even things up  a bit....not overpowered at all.

If it evens it up a bit, why even have EoC at all?

Maybe it's good that these pants put less Emphasis on spamming attacks at eachother and instead encourage longer fights. People will have to think more tactically to overcome the improved regen.

I have yet to manage capping HP regen. I stopped at around 200%?

Yes, but unfortunately in PvP that's always the last thing you want to do. It's great for duels though.
#36300512357 10/20/2008 09:03:51 Re:SleepWalker Jeans

Well, let's see. Wearing Peck's Shirt, Area K, Seraphims, Widow's Moore, SleepWalker's Jeans, plus Fast Healing 2.0, plus an Anniversary Cookie. You've got around 260% Health Regen. It'd be even higher if I had the Assassin's Mask, as well as higher Vitality. Granted I'm not in a combat state, that's not even going all the way with health regen.

#36300512364 10/20/2008 09:27:46 Re:SleepWalker Jeans
If someone is willing to go to all of those extents to get all that regen then they deserve to be dang near impossible to kill.

Actually, they're an easy for anyone. Low resistances, cancels out your better HP regen.
#36300512389 10/20/2008 11:01:50 Re:SleepWalker Jeans

We got a half decent item and we want it lowering? Only me seing a catch 22 here?

We moan for better buffs we get em? Then we dont want better buffs.

The Jeans are just as availible to one player as the next so if someone wants the same advantage GO FARM (or flash your info)

To be honest I think the Jeans are a great Item and I like them the way they are!

Thats my 2 $info!

Foregoing all the actual statistics and numbers and relying simply on experience; their not that bad, I myself don't have a pair, probably won't get one and have never really had too much a problem killing those who do wear 'em.
#36300512456 10/20/2008 14:20:21 Re:SleepWalker Jeans
During some test duels the other day, I dueled without the Sleepwalker jeans and Ballak dueled with them. I won a couple and Ballak won like 5? So, really, I don't find them that overpowered because they're still beatable(though not 100% of the time, as expected) if you use something other than sleepwalker jeans. In PvP, I notice no real difference as there's generally enough people on either side to negate any kind of benefit of the regen.

yes it does lengthen them but I like it. I gives such an intense feeling when you get down to around 500 health.
As for in pvp, normally the numbers are not to balanced anyways and if your out numbered your going to die no matter what regen you have. plus with hacks or just anyone outside attacking you while fighting someone else there going to get the states needed to kill them pretty fast.

I do have a pair but they are for show never worn them in a pvp type situation, I agree with you though never really had too much a problem killing those who do wear'em cause depending on what the opposition has loaded and is wearing ie damage,  doesn't seem to me that the health regen buff is going to matter anyways.
