Meh.

H'mm, now, do I keep this for a rainy day or recycle it for a cool $i 1million?

Edit: Aw hell, you're right. That was our last crit, wasn't it? SMILEY

I looks very well like it's the last Crit, considering the future plans. What I'd like to know is will we get any org clothing or item for completing archives 9-11.2? Any FX for chapter 11?

Rare should make an epic reward for completing chapters 1-11 for a specific org, or 1-11 on all three o.0

Good mission, Thank you to Cryptos for giving us this nifty little item.

(( As the final crit, it kind of fizzled especially in comparison to the last one which I really enjoyed.  Hopefully what comes next will be a worthy replacement for the crit system.  They may not have always been the greatest, but their once a week release schedule was a good way to keep the story moving along and I hope the new system at least keeps up with that pace. ))

Ok so the item we get at the end of the mission isn't useable. No trade (right now). Which leaves me to believe that it is what we trade in to start the new series of quests that are replacing the critical missioning system.

What? You mean the Override immunity prototype of yours isn't useable?

nope it just sits there.

Kind of hard to believe that. Seeing Zions recent critical gave nothing of such. And I don't think the Merv crit did either. So I have doubts the item will be used for replacment to the mission system. Unless Rare is making everyone grind mech rep. And force players to get the item. But I dout that he would do such a thing.

I'm sure the content-related quest that's going to be released first will have those anti-override pills obtainable from a collector/mission ticket. Machines and Cypherites just get them first.

I'm sure the override override will work. Maybe you can only activate it once you've been affected by an Ac-/Decelerator?
#36300511262 10/17/2008 05:09:47 Re:[11.2.5] Mach mission feedback thread: "Antigenic Sin"
I've not used mine, I didn't even check to see if it was activatable but I assumed it was the same item as the one's that Cryptos gave some Syntax and Recursion Cyphs in previous weeks which are activatable at any time, v0.1 right? Has anyone used theirs or is everyone saving it?
#36300511263 10/17/2008 05:15:44 Re:[11.2.5] Mach mission feedback thread: "Antigenic Sin"
Must be nice to get things like this. I can only hope the other orgs get something like this, but I'm not holding my breath.
#36300511284 10/17/2008 07:12:40 Re:[11.2.5] Mach mission feedback thread: "Antigenic Sin"
It is activatable. But according to the mission it's consumable, and I've only got one, so I'm not using it for no reason.
And yeah, hopefully this or something similarly nice will find its way into Zion/Merv hands.

That would defeat the purpose since it's supposed to protect against not cure.

Trouble is showing up in the slums again! We cleaned up some overrides and some other trouble makers, but then some Cypherites showed up and took care of the overrides instantly! They said Cryptos has a way to help stop them, and wants to make a deal! So Gray and Cryptos have a meeting, so in my trying to understand it, Cryptos has anti-override devices and he is trying to make them even better, but he needs more information about some of the inner workings of Matrix to do it! Gray said stuff like that is restricted, but he will ask, since anti-override things would be so helpful SMILEY The best part is, I got a copy of the prototype! SMILEY I love little keepsakes from missions SMILEY I wonder if the Machines are going to give Cryptos the access he needs?
