i say this because a player should not have to worry about doing a mission 10 times because the missions sends him in and makes him escort someone through NPCs that are orange red and purple..and that's on the EASY setting, plus making them escort to 5-6 different locations..it's freakin rediculous.

What level are you? I'd try starting it in the southern part of Richland (ie. Appollyn, Dannah Heights, Eschean Projects); that should send you into the southern part of Westview (Sobra Shores, Southard), which are the... less hostile parts of Westview...
It's better not to do escort missions at that level. The gang members will just eat 'em up.
As Neoteny said, escort missions with high level gangs around you are quite difficult. You can change your type of mission and if your getting sent to Westview a lot try doing the missions from Sai Kung in Int, the gang levels are lower there than Westview.
Mm, I reccommend either Assasination or Infiltration or Courier missions till you get to lvl 30, when you can start choosing where to run the missions and the controller starts giving you more slack.
