Here's a question I was going to ask as a "trivia" question, but I decided better of it since it's pretty abstract and there's no definitive correct answer (even though I believe a strong argument could be made).
If Club Hel represents Hell, Mobil Ave. Station represents Limbo, and the Matrix represents the world ... where is Heaven?
I thought of at least two answers to this, one I think is stronger than the other, but it's arguable so I decided not to ask it as a "trivia" question. But I'm still interested in what people think.

I'd say Zion for humans and The Source for programs, though Zion could be considered a "Hell" to some.

Edit: Example, Cypherites. They don't like the Real World and try to keep bluepills in their pods, thinking they won't like the world as it is.

Heaven is usually considered to be where God lives.

Under that assumption I would see Heaven as where the Architect does his work. I can't remember the name of the place where Neo meets the Architect. I'm pretty sure that isn't classed as the Source. So, I'll call it the White Room.

Could be Zero One aswell, you have Deus Ex Machina there who controls everything and anything.

Ahh this is true.

I was however restricting myself to areas within the simulation.

But, your point is valid.

Not sure which would work for programs though. They goto the Source to be deleted, I don't consider that Heaven or Hell. Though Club Hel could be Heaven for some, seeing as they don't get deleted and they keep going in the Matrix.

Heaven would be the earth without her scorched sky.

Realtive to the condiction of the real one could argue that the Matrix represents Heaven and the real world hell.

I'm sort of inclined to argue that there was no Heaven in the films.  Heaven could be described as a place of nirvana, where everyone is happy and nothing goes wrong.  Well, things went wrong in every single location in the films.

1% of the population hated the Matrix.
99% of the population either hated or would have hated, if given the chance, the Real world.
None of the Zionites like 01, the Source, Club Hel, Mobile Ave, etc.

Since the movies were completely written from the standpoint of Zionites, I would say that Heaven would be the Real World after the war has ended.  Think about it...

In Christianity, the only way you can get to Heaven is through Jesus Christ, who died for you and everyone else.
Neo represented Christ.
Neo died in the end for all of Zion so that they could get to Heaven, or get to the world without the war.

To my mind, the "heaven" I had in mind was the Source, the room with the Architect. Since he is the closest one could come to a 'god' in the Matrix, it would follow that his domain .. omniscent via all the screens .. seemed the likeliest candidate for a heaven. Also, since both Hel and the Mobil Ave. Station are constructs within the Matrix, heaven should likewise also be a construct.

However, another concept of heaven is that it transcends the physical world, and is on a different plane of existence altogether. In that light, the machine city was my alternative, since only there does true power of control over the Matrix reside, along with all the denizens of the city, some of whom no doubt maintain the Matrix and its hardware.

I thoght the Matrix after the Truce was made, without the green glitch and with Sati's sunsets, could represent a kind of Heaven... But then it has become even worse after all.

Heaven would be in the oracles bed.

"Double post"

Club Hel is not hell. (well, maybe it could be considered hell on earth. It's very carnal in the club.)

The Real is Hell. It represents everything carnal and human in nature that relates to flesh. (Look at the dance scene in Zion. IE: The Orgy dance and Neo and Trinity have relations)

The Matrix represents the world.

Heaven is the source or the Machine City. It is bathed in golden light. The city is where the spirit lie. That's why Neo is so taken back when he sees in all in light. And that's why he wants a truce. He wants to combie body and soul in harmony on earth. The Earth being the matrix.

That's my take on it, anyways.
