I want to be The Assassin for Halloween. No, I don't mean ingame. My biggest problem is that I can't find the mask or anything similar enough. I have a jacket that I can make work and I'm pretty sure I can find boots that will look right. I need your help to find a good mask. Please post here or contact me via pm if you find anything good.

Thanks,

The closest I can think of is The Scream. Perhaps white face paint, blank expresion. I'll refrain from suggesting a toliet seat be modified (j/k, head the mask called that in game once or twice.)

Something like that should do the trick.

*edit* lmfao you found the same thing, nvm then. lol

That's as close as you're going to get without making one yourself.

But the Real question is: do you have an African American friend who is bald and willing to play Morpheus?

I'm also thinking, it's a good idea to hot-glue some plastic flies to the coat, in lieu of the Fly Virus effect...

No, I'll be lucky if anyone even knows who The Assassin is.

hopefully fake or your going to have to set some food outside with a can of bug spray to get enough.

They won't.

You might as well just call yourself the 'toilet reaper'.

Bolding mine: I think the fact that I mentioned plastic flies should indicate they're fake... Unless some mad scientist created living flies made from some sort of biological plastic, and I didn't hear about it....

After a lot of looking around, I changed my mind.  Instead I have ordered a black fedora and a really cool cross pendant.  I'll end up with more of a vampire hunter/van helsing look.

Current setup is as follows:
Black Fedora
Morpheus Trench
Morpheus Shades
Black Dress Slacks
Black Shoes
Black Shirt with red moon, inlaid tombstones, and creepy tree
Pewter Cross Necklace

I'm open to ideas for additions. Maybe I should buy a cheap sword to carry.

No! No sword, shot-gun. More bad ask, unless you going al out and getting some demon-headed sword with working flamethrower attatched... other wise, shot gun... With silver bullets.

Edit: *Yoinks Zippy's Unlimit costume idea*

I wasn't really intending on going to any parties. I was just gonna dress up and stroll around the campus for a few hours, have some fun, maybe see if someone will give me some Jolly Ranchers (oh gawd it's like Merv Cake in candy form), go for my record of "getting slapped trying to hit on chicks" (current is three), and slum around until I pass out.

ROFL!! Maybe try a different approach then zippy!

I wanna be Lezel for halloween.
Unfortunately, my roommate roped me into being Dream from the Sandman... You know, since my eyes are black and all.

Why do I have the urge to start singing "Enter Sandman" all due this quote.

Aannnnywhom Have the shoes (a mere $35 bucks ^_^)
Still working on the coat (thinking a short rain jacket/trecnh coat could do. But have not seen anything near like the Area K)
Beret I am heading out later today to get.
And working out the Airsoft pistols. I may have to just get a few toy replicated pop guns and have a Redpill Special type thing and go from there)

Don't you mean "The Endless", the Neil Gaiman graphic novels? Dream has been known by many names, including Sandman.

On a side-note, have you purchased a pair of black contact lenses? That might save a lot of photo-shop time... Unless your eyes really are black! SMILEY

Eitherway, pics would be good. May be there should be a special thread; just for halloween pics...

#36300513203 10/22/2008 19:16:24 Re:Halloween Costumes

I'm dressing as MxO.  That's right!

Green stockings and long sleeve tee, covered by a large cardboard box I got from work.  On the box, poster blowups of the MxO game box (front cover on the front, back cover on the back, sides on the sides).  I'm gonna put my hair in in bantu knots like Niobe and wear my Chanel shades, and stick some blank CDs to my arms, representing the load CDs of the game.  I should look like a box of MxO!!  Hehehe SMILEY

Technically, I do mean the Endless, but most people know the books as the Sandman comics, so I went with that name.

And... I usually just photoshop out my eyes, but I do own a pair of black-out lenses that I wear on special occasions. When the day comes that the technology exists to color my eyes black, I'll be happy to get it done.

Posted this in the other thread, but any parties I go to this year are going to be as Rorschach. Got a pretty authentic looking costume, too.

You could just put black dye in your eyes. I did that with blue dye on mine. Sure, everything has a very blue tint on it now, but it looks better to me anyway.

You may also want to consider getting your eyes numbed before you attempt this, as it may or may not hurt a very great deal.

#36300513622 10/24/2008 00:31:33 Re:Halloween Costumes

I wasn't getting the kind of result I wanted with dye, so I went with the lenses. It gets easier to take them in and out the more you do it.
