Yeah... there's a bug with the DirectX resource restore routine that re-loads the resources after an Alt-Tab.
It causes obscured objects to be drawn after the item that obscured them (z-buffering is reversed).
The translucency effect is due to overbright combined with your light radius.
I think the first screenshots of this were taken in the first month after MxO went live.
Doesn't stop it looking cool though.

Just hit Windowed Mode and then 'No' to fix it.
Just take off, green tint, overbright, and anti-aleasing(sp?)
