Hey guys I just bought this game off Direct2Drive and I downloaded the patches and then as soon as I did that I logged in and after doing that the game game me an error that said "The file client.dll could not be set up properly. No available render modes were detected."

Help please!! The game crashes and I am unable to play it.

Heya Tuanset,

Have you tried rebooting, and then when starting the game up again checking the "full system check" option in the launcher user interface?

I'm running Windows XP through VMware: Fusion on a Mac. And I'm thinking the problem might just be due to me using a Mac.

Sadly unless I have missed an announcement in the last 3-4years, MAC is unsupported, even if you emulate Window's through it, there have been various attempts from different community members over the years, some have been successful with Bootcamp, other's havn't had as much luck.


Due to running the Virtual Machine, it is hiding your graphics card information away from me, however at a glance;

I can tell you that giving it 16mb of graphics memory just isn't enough, the minimum specification's for this game is a
DirectX 9.0c compatible video card with programmable shader with a minimum of 64mb (128mb recommended).

Have a look if your Virtual Machine settings and see if there is an option to increase the memory, sadly I have no experiance with this application so I can't offer any assistance with that matter.

UniToxic is right. That video card doesn't meet the minimum requirements by a long way.
You'll also be wanting around another 256 to 512MB RAM.
You can run MxO on a Mac... but the only way to successfully support directX fully is to use BootCamp.

If you happen to be running a Desktop box you can just pop in some more RAM and a high-end 3D gaming video card and she'll be apples.
If it's a laptop then I'm afraid you're boned. :/

Price isn't that much of an issue. Just something that can run most games at medium settings.

Sorry I'm normally a console gamer and the whole "Swapping video cards" thing is kinda... New to me.
