Hello Data Node One, I want to play a game. In a month I will bring upon my vengeance from beyond the grave. As I have stated before, my work will be carried out after I am dead. My games, my tests of the survival instinct in 21th Century humans will go on. The only question is, do you have what it takes to survive my games? I just had a Saw Marathon too, tired of people saying 'omg you haven't seen it?' The first one was pretty good and I liked pieces of the next 3 but they weren't of the same standard. Things got a little predictable after a while, frankly.
I was disappointed with the fourth one because I was hoping for a continuation of the story not an inbetween-quel. I'll probably still watch the new one at some point, but I highly doubt I'll be going out of my way to see it.

I was a little disapointed, especially because of the ending. It was such a let down ending when compared to Saws 1 2 and 4. 3's ending was a let down to me as well. In fact, I thought overall this movie went nowhere. They didn't really reveal anything we didn't already know except backstory. It was really more of a prequal since it accomplished very little for the future. Yeah, Strahm is dead and nobody suspects Hoffman, and Jill Tuck was given a suspicious box, but other than that nothing changed. And the only two traps that I thought were any good were the pendulum trap and the final trap. The others were sort of blah.
All in all, I would rank this movie as my 2nd least likeable, with the lowest being Saw 3. But I really think Saw 6 will be good. Saw 3 sucked but was a nice set up for Saw 4. Hopefully Saw 5 will suck but be a nice set up for Saw 6, which is(hopefully) the culimation of the series.

Yes, I believe the 5th set up for the 6th. However, the 5th did reveal a lot of things. Such as who did what, why, when, and who else. This definitly sets up for the 6th because there are still ALOT of questions that need to be answered.
And where and when did you hear about them making 8?
Lol, every single Saw has revealed you where, why and what.
This saw was ok, I mean the only good twist was the revealing of the Apprentince and exactly when he started.
Other than that the only thing I thought was even worth a "Meh" was where the detective Saved himself with a pen.
