Veil and Cryptos...cool

I had thought the character had to be dead (if it was more than a "thug" NPC) in order to qualify as being a mask, so there weren't 12 Cryptos...es....Crypti? At a live event, or something. But this is exceedingly cool.

I still don't like the idea of having main characters (who are still very much alive) as masks but at least it's only for about two weeks or so. I wonder, was material a little hard to come by this year for the masks? Are we running out of character models that people wanna be?

Hmmm.. sure kicks Anome's butt. Anyway, I have no interest in Cryptos, but Veil's always been an interesting character appearance wise. Should make for some very interesting pictures.

Heh, I like them a lot! That said I can see Rare scratching his chin this year on which scary masks to add as we're running short on overtly scary persons as such. I'd call out Ookami and Malphas as we got Veil and Cryptos though.

well live events for those 2 weeks are going to be intresting.
does seem odd that there will be current characters for it, I would have expected more along the lines of there old character models but hmmp o well... should make for some intresting posts in the RSI thread.

im not really fussed about collecting these masks. I guess now we have more storage available in mail its not such a big deal but in the spirit of things... it is intersting that current characters have maskes. Hopefully something more entertaining will happen this year.

I would really like to see a mission ticket system for Halloween (just like the Winter & Anniversary Events and now the Valkrjar quest), where we can earn clothing items. They'd be purely cosmetic more than likely. Maybe a shirt with a jac-o-lantern on the back, I don't know.
