Decompile Clothing

Last I checked, 16+12+8+8=44.

Why is my Decompile Skill only 38? What is that asterick ( * ) for? And isn't a Signal Booster supposed to buff your abilities by 2 (nerfed from 5) totaling my Decompile skill at 46?

What gives?

Because whenever a number is yellow with a * next to it, it means it's capped for your current character level and can't go any higher.

As Eval stated values on the Bonus Tab that are in Yellow are capped out.

Is there any particular reason why it is capped for my lvl 16 rsi? Once I level up to 17, what will the cap be?

So level 10 character's aren't crafting Hi diffculty items. Otherwise what is the point of leveling crafting abilities?

I can see that, but in this case I was decompiling. Successful decompiling also awards XP.

If you have high-lvl friends who dump their not-needed highlvl clothing onto you, then you need high-lvl decomp to decomp them successfully ... for good XP. It's a nice side-method for gaining experience.

On a sidenote 9mm, can we change the Overdrive Deompile Module into a normal item? Having it to be a luggable makes it rather a waste of farming (from the hardest NPC spawn currently in-game) since it disappears after every server-restart?
