That i spent an obscene amount of money for on the market place by mistake the other day. Any chance I could have my money back?
I've spent it already. On more 7 bits >.<

Thats why I double click the icon/picture for the item. It asks you if you want to make purchase.
Oh, cool. Learn something new every day.

yeah it sux that this happens and brings to light the marketplace concerns/rants/ideas brought up before. I know myself have accidentally mistyped listing prices. So it does happen and can be a mistake. But it also sometimes is purposely listed that way. And that is sad.
Have to admit, i did see a shed load of over priced code bits on the market last night. After coming back and having no code what so ever its the last thing i need!
Whats the dealeo?
Possibly some people or person trying to pull a fast one taking advantage of MP lag. A 'do you really want to buy this item' Window would cut this down, if not cut the scam out completely.Have to admit, i did see a shed load of over priced code bits on the market last night. As I stated above earlier. There is a pop-up dialog box like this IF you click on the item icon/picture (left side) instead of the buy button (right side). It pops up a window saying are you sure you want to purchase. If you shop this way you will have no problems. And yes I know it would be nice to have on all ways to purchase. But if you speed click to buy items when there is a safe way. then maybe you should lose that money.
To be honest ive never had a problem with buying something for a stupid amount of info and i use it quite alot.
Dunno whats with this new trend of shifting 4 code bit 1 for 30mil
The market is rife with them!
I think it's people trying to take advantage of the market lag. I just simply click on the more button until it greys out, wait a moment, then browse and buy.
But it's worth noting, despite this being quite an amusing episode, the OP did lose alot of info. And it's not enough to say "just send a few hours in Datamine" to cover for the fact that a fix for this should be easy to implement. Just one confirmation box asking "Do you wish to buy xxx for $xxx"

There is... but not if you click on the buy button where it should be. I made this thread. Some dont think it was neccessary. Deems me to think they benefited in the past from this.
I don't personally have lag on the market place, but obviously some do. But what it ultimately boils down to, is that we need a proper market place. In the wider view, this is just one tiny problem. The level ordering doesn't work, we need a search function.... because lets face it, most of us would rather use the forum marketplace these days to sell or buy something.

Buy 30 low level guns from a vendor, decompile, rinse, repeat. Code bit shortage solved.Low level guns dont give code bit sevens, and I couldnt be bothered to go to the item vendor to buy a couple of items (I have 4 empty spaces in my inventory) and then run back to upload etc....I want my money back!
